    PLANT:dracaena sanderiana

    1. Abstract
    this study primarily focuses on which of the 2 plants having the same variety will be able to have
    roots, the one with something to enhance the growth of the plant, or the one with only tap
    water. We conducted an experiment where we will know which of the plants will have roots
    after some time. THe researchers are asked to get 2 plants and put each plant in 1 bottle that
    has the same size with the same amount water in it. After they put each plant in the bottle, they
    were asked to put something to enhance the growth of Plant A. While the plant B is left with tap
    water only and nothing more. THe researchers now conclude that Plant A will be the one with
    the roots and PLant B will be dead.
    2. Introduction
    The objective of this experiment is to know whether we can plant or grow plant in water with
    something to enhance the growth of the plant OR just plain tap water only. We can know the
    result through experimentation. The researchers will be able to know the result through this
    experiment and they will be able to enhance their knowledge after knowing the result. z
    3. Scientific question/problem

    Which of the plants will have roots after some time? PLant A, which has something to

    enhance its growth? Or Plant B, which has nothing to enhance its growth?

    Dependent Variable: Plant and water

    Independent Variable: air bottle sunlight and fertilizer

    4. Hypothesis
    Plants need many types of nutrients to grow. Fertilizer adds those nutrients thus allowing the
    plant to grow more and faster. Therefore, Plant A will be the one to have roots faster.
    5. Experimentation

    Observation

    The researchers have observed that Plant A which has Fertilizer in it, did not grow its roots.
    Instead, it had many moss after 2 weeks. On the other hand, Plant B which has nothing in it, started to
    grow its roots during Week 2.
    Result

    The result of this experiment is Plant B had grow roots in it. Plant A started to have moss in its bottle
    during Week 3 as you can see in the table. One plant had roots after some time and the other did not.

    6. Generalization
    For this instance, like the base of the plant is water, not soil, we can say that roots will grow
    faster when left with water alone. When you add fertilizer in it, the plant will die instead of
    growing its roots.
    7. Conclusion
    The researchers now conclude that Plant B which has nothing to enhance its growth will grow
    roots after some time.
    8. Recommendation
    I recommend future researchers to further search and experiment on this topic. It will make you
    know more about the reason behind it. I recommend this topic because it is interesting and you
    will be able to know and observe different things or results.
    9. Future research
    I suggest that the future researchers will be able to conduct an experiment or research about
    things that will be able to help make progress our economy. Make a research about things that
    will help us in our daily lives and will help us know more about things we are curious about.
