Dear Sir/Madam,

I have read the information about the Software Development and Entrepreneurship study program
with great interest on your website. Through this motivational letter, I would like to put forward my
candidacy for enrolment in this course.

Regarding my academic qualifications, I have passed my School Leaving Certificate (SLC)


equivalent to tenth grade with A+ Grade in 2016 from Adarsha Vidhya Ashram English Boarding
School. Then I did my High School in science stream under National Examination Board from
Daisy English Boarding Secondary School with aggregate score of B + Grade in 2018.

My interest in computer and software began around five years ago when I first came into contact
with computer coding in school while creating a small website using HTML and CSS. From there
on, I was captivated. I started working on small projects of my own, creating websites, snake
game and a simple calculator. I have learned small pieces of codes from several languages
through the YouTube videos that are available online as well as through other sources. For me,
working on computer code is my way of being creative, since I find it difficult to be creative in more
common ways such as drawing, dancing, sports, and painting. Every time I write a piece of
computer code, I get the feeling I have created a piece of art and reading computer code, to me,
feels like looking at a piece of art.
Furthermore, in May 2016, Seeing my craze and dedication in computer programing, Graphic
designing and computer network, my parents admitted me in College of Software
Engineering(CSE) from where I completed my One year Diploma Course in Webpage Designing
and Graphic Designing. I also participated in an internship for a week at same institution
(CSE), where I worked with IT manager and other technical staff. I worked on creating a
database. This was the first time I ever encountered SQL programming language. During this
period, I managed to learn basic SQL and create the database. This week of work experience was
very useful as it enabled me to deepen my understanding of computer science. It was an excellent
opportunity to gain work experience in my chosen field of computer science. Even in school, I
have tried to contribute as much as I can with the technical team, getting involved throughout
several events. At home, I have also been very interested in computers. Around May last year, I
build my second personal computer from scratch. I have also managed to assemble a server,
which has been a very interesting experience as it gave me more insight into how a computer
works and how the different processors and chipsets interact together to be able to function like a
computer.
After the completion of my high school, I was looking for a course which would fulfil my intention to
be IT personnel. With this in mind, I started to look for the study options in my country. The
traditional theoretical methods, led me to choose to study abroad so that I can learn in a practical
manner and gain an internationally accepted reputed degree. After some research and
understanding I decided to pursue my further education in Estonian Entrepreneurship University of
Applied Science, Estonia. The most important reason for choosing Estonia is the global
acceptability of the qualification. The degree provided by the Estonian institutions is regarded to be
of high standard and is in demand all over the world including Nepal. Moreover the education
system in Estonia is qualitative, up to date, highly researched and practical and the fees are also
comparatively lower than other European nations.

In regards to studying at Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Science, I seek to


combine all the knowledge I have gathered over the years and try to deepen my understanding of
computer science and engineering. I have decided to go down this route which contains more
software compared to hardware, because of my greater interest in software engineering combined
with my ability to solve problems and the joy I take in doing so. I feel that this is my driving passion
that will allow me to succeed during the years that I will be studying at the Estonian
Entrepreneurship University of Applied Science. After I complete my three year (SDAEs) program
from (EUAS). I believe I would be a person with the right Entrepreneurship skills on my shoulder,
acute analysis power on my brain and proximity with computer in my heart. With this certificate
different opportunities will come flooding in.

I hope that I have been able to convince you of my excellent capabilities and my passionate
motivation to start studying Software Development and Entrepreneurship at Estonian
Entrepreneurship University of Applied Science. I really look forward to your reply and to start
studying at your University!
