STYLES
STYLES CAN BE FOUND UNDER HOME TAB.
Paragraphs play different roles in a document. You can use different kinds of paragraphs
that may have a title, headings, sub-headings, or picture captions to help our readers
understand the content of your document and these parts must be formatted in such as
way that there is consistency. In Word, a style is a collection of formatting instructions.
You use styles to format the paragraphs in your document. So you would use the "Title"
style for your title, "Body Text" style for body text, "Caption" style for the picture
captions, and "Heading 1" for the major headings. When working on long documents,
styles allow you to format your document quickly while keeping the formatting
consistent.
Simple click from the options given and be sure to highlight the document to format.
FIND AND REPLACE
To automatically search content from your document use Find feature, and it allows you
to quickly change words or phrases using Replace. This feature can be found in the
HOME TAB.
Simply click find and type the word you would like MS Word to Find for you. Look at
the example below:
Once MS Word has located the word you are looking for, it will be highlighted and will
appear on your document pane.
The find and replace feature on the other hand enables you to change the text into
something else by typing the word you want MS Word to find and typing over the word
you want MS Word to replace as shown on the screenshot above.
CLIPBOARD
The clipboard can be found under the HOME TAB . It enables you to copy the content of
your document, whether it is a text, paragraph, graphics or any form of object and place
or transfer it in another location.
