ISC GAME RULES 2018

TOUCH RUGBY
1. GAMES RULES

1.1. This tournament shall be conducted based on:

1.1.1. General Rules and Regulations of the IIUM Sports Carnival


1.1.2. Federation of International Touch (FIT)

1.2. If there is any dispute, the English regulation should prevail. All decisions made by the
‘Technical Committee’ are final.
1.3. The ‘Technical Committee’ shall determine the events to be conducted, the number of
participants and the format of the competition.

2. PARTICIPANT

3. ATHLETES REGISTRATION AND TEAM MANAGER MEETING

3.1. Only 12 players are allowed to be registered for each team.


3.2. Registration should be made to the ‘Technical Committee’ before team managers meeting.
3.3. Only registered players are allowed to participate
3.4. Registration form:

3.4.1. All Mahallah must submit the Team Confirmation Form within the stipulated period
instructed by the Organizer.
3.4.2. All teams must use the Official Registration Form and Official Game Entry Form issued
by the ‘Technical Committee’.
3.4.3. All forms must be returned to the ‘Technical Committee’ during the Team Managers
Briefing.
3.4.4. Game Entry Form must be submitted to the ‘Technical Committee’ before each game
begins.

4. FORMAT OF COMPETITION

4.1. (Refer ISC General Rules Clause 10).


4.2. Duration Game (Preliminary Round until Final:
Half Game Time
1st Half 7 minute
Rest 1 minute
2nd Half 7 minute

4.3. Game format (6 versus 6). Each team is allowed to make any substitution at any time during
the match (Rolling Substitution), provided that the substituted players are the players enlisted
in the Players Registration Form.
4.4. Accumulative Points
Win 3 point
Draw 1 point
Lose 0 point

4.5. In case two (2) teams gain equal points in the group at the end of the Preliminary League,
these procedures shall be followed: -

4.5.1. The team with better goal difference is considered winner.


4.5.2. If draw, the number of goals scored is taken into account.
4.5.3. If still draw the team which has won before (head to head) will automatically win.
4.5.4. If there are more than (3) team draw, therefore a ballot will take place.

4.6. Knock out stage

4.6.1. Should the game end in a draw at the end of normal time, an extra-time duration: 3
minute (1st half) – 1 minute (rest) – 3 minute (2nd half)
4.6.2. Should the game end in a draw at the end of an extra time, the winner will be
determine by the team who had try first during the match.
4.6.3. If still draws therefore a sudden death flip coin will take place.

9. DELAYED GAMES

9.1. (Refer ISC General Rules Clause 12)


9.2. Only 5 minutes will be given to the late team and afterwards, failure of the team to get
prepared and commence the game within this time, that team is considered to have
conceded a walkover with 3 point with goals score 3 – 0.

19. AMENDMENTS
The ‘Technical Committee’ shall have the right to delete, add or amend the rules and regulations laid
down herein.
