Direction: List down areas in which we can find where counselors work in the
illustration below.

Counseling professional may work include private practice, community settings,


the legal system, group homes, long-term care facilities, short-term care facilities,
in advocacy roles, and in the educational system. In each setting, different skills
and training are required.

Why does counselor is important in the society?

-Counseling has been important seemingly since the dawn of society. From
parents and grandparents advising other family members to community leaders
providing guidance to residents, counseling seems to have always been a natural
part of the human experience.
