2 Introduction
This vision document is to collect and list down the features of the Car Rental and System. It
informs us why the need for this system arises and the dependencies of the system. This
document tells us how the features help us fulfill the needs. It concerns with Rent A Ride system
which is client-based, the interface shall be mobile-based. The system shall be introduced to
provide cars on rent within or outside the city and rides within the city. This shall help customers
to access comfortable, affordable transportation services.

services to the customers on the basis of price per hour. The aim of the system shall be to bring
comfort and produce affordability to the user. The system shall help the users execute their travel

Car Drivers: Has to make sure all the cars are available at that moment, so
customer won’t get disappointed if he didn’t get the expected car.

Benefits of This online car rental solution is fully functional, flexible and is a 24/7 open
office. It is very easy to use. It saves a lot of time, money and labor. It increases
the efficiency of the management at offering quality services to the customers.
Customers shall easily book a rental car by online registering their account and
checking the available cars and getting it delivered at their location without
visiting their office.
Customers shall also book a Car or a bus for ride to go from their pickup location
to their drop off location, with comfort and security.
This online service shall be a source of escalating their business when people
from around the country shall be able to rent their car only by using their phone
and internet.

 The client must be available to check the fare they should pay for the trip .
 User can invite their friends using a referral code and earn points. Users can send an invitation by
SMS, email and through other social networking platforms like Facebook, Twitter and
WhatsApp.
 Users should be able to select and save his/her favorite locations to make their accessibility
easier.
 Customers can rate their experience and provide honest feedback with this feature. The business
owner can also discover best driver which leads to improvement in business operations.
Consistent low rating will issue a warning to low rated drivers.
 Passengers never like to keep calling drivers to know how far they are from the pickup location.
With this feature, the passengers have the option to share their location with the driver.
 App must allow the passengers to see the history of bookings they have done. History of all the
trip taken along with the details of the driver and the rider can be listed. Customers often need to
keep track of the different journeys they have undertaken. With this option, customer is able to
view all their past and upcoming trip in one place.
 The user can start using the taxi app solution with a simplified sign-up. It will only ask basic
information of the user. As soon as the sign up is completed, the user can book the taxi anytime
and anywhere in a single tap with the help of their email or mobile number.

Admin:

 The admin can delete any Driver.

 Admin allow us to develop certain likings towards some people. Some would like to hire a
regular driver for the trips.
 The ride cost finalized by admin.
 The system also must keep track the statistical reports of daily activities of the online booking.
 The admin can create discount codes and the client can get discount on fares using the codes.
 The payment option can be further simplified by integrating with mobile payments apps like
Cash, Jazz Cash, Easy Paisa, Cridit Card etc.

6 Product Overview
This System provides comfortable, affordable transportation services. This application allows
user to rent a car without having to fill lots and lots of forms but also give facility of pickup and
drop-off within the city. The trained drivers on demand of the customers facilitate them to their
desired destination. The GPS allows the user to track their rides. The customer shall get the car
rented online without having to waste time filling out insurance and other papers, and the car
shall be delivered to their doorstep at the requested time.

 User will have to verify mobile number and Email address.
 After verification Passenger can book a ride, select vehicle, give drop off location,
payment and feedback.
 Driver can get rides, current location and drop off location of passenger and secure
the payment.
 Driver will get bonus as on best feedback.
