will be proud of.

to spend government’s money with.

Rency!
Decision: I stay up all night just to finish my school works and task.
LEARNING TASK 4.
1. What are your prior considerations for making those decisions?
Before I came up with those decisions, I always ask myself first if it is really what I want
to do. I always question my motive if it is the right thing that can benefit a lot of people.
I always think if I will be hurting others in my future decision, and analyze the situation
of others if I was in their place.
2. What are your considerations for classifying the effect of your action as a positive one?
If the effect of my action would not harm anyone, be beneficial for a lot of people, and
be the start of a good change, then I’ll consider it as a positive one.
3. What are your considerations for classifying the effect of your action as a negative one?
If the people around me will get hurt, the feedback that I will get is unfavorable and my
conscience will be triggered, then I’ll consider it as a negative one.
4. In making those decisions, are you free in doing them? If yes, how? If no, what binds you?
I think this question is dependent to the situation. If you’re a person who has a strong
personality and standpoint then you has the freedom to decide what you really want.
But if you’re a person that is scared about the judgment of others, then you’ll not free to
decide, because you are being dependent to the acceptance of the society.
But in my situation, I have the freedom to choose because I always think of the benefits
and consequences of my actions. This brings me a very strong standpoint.
5. What are your considerations in saying that you made a “best decision”?
My consideration in saying that I made the right or best decision is when I feel “relief”
not only in my mind, but also in my soul. I will feel it if I knew that I achieved and
succeeded in certain things without humiliating, hurting, or lying to other people. It is
much better to sleep at night at peace and ease thinking that you got where you are
right now because you use your hardship, determination, and perseverance to succeed
in life and win that battle. For me, that is the best decision that people should always
consider. Let's always choose kindness, gentleness and use our patience to succeed in
life without harming anyone.

2. What are your considerations for saying that your choice is the right thing?
If the effect of my action harms lesser people and saves more people, then I’ll consider
it as a positive one.
3. Following the concept of Intellectual choice, will your decision be the same? Why or why not?
If it is considered as the concept of ‘Intellectual Choice”, my decision will be the same
because the decision would cause more happiness to most people and on the society.
4. Following the concept or Practical choice, will your decision be the same? Why or why not?
If it is considered as a “Practical Choice”, my decision will change. If that one person
on the other side of the railway is someone who is special to me, I was willing to
sacrifice five lives for that person. Even if the world hates me, this is what I will choose.
5. Was your decision a choice based on your understanding or based on some reference?
It is based on my own understanding because I learned it from my teacher in
philosophy, Sir Percy Ceniza. (hahahahahehehehehee)

I will tell the police what Zandy have told me.
2.
A. What will you do?
As a leader of the church, I must be fair and indifferent. Even if the father of Gayle is a close
buddy, I have to uphold what is right. The teenagers did was wrong but violence is not the
solution. I will allow the boy to stay under my roof. I will tell him to apologize to Gayle and to
her family and promises to fulfill his responsibilities. Then, I will talk to Frederico and counsel
him that violence is not the answer. When things calmed down, the family must face each
other to plan for the future instead.
3.
A. What will you do?
If I were Dr.Nicole, I would perform the drug test professionally. I've known for my credibility
for my profession so I would do the right thing even if the mayor conveyed me in falsifying his
daughter findings. I would not risk my profession for money.
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
In moral standpoint, do you thing Ah Chong’s action is morally upright or not? Should he be held
liable for stabbing his roommate?
In my own opinion, Ah Chong's action is upright. The act done by Ah Chong was merely an
act done due to honest mistake of fact. But if his roommate answered his question at first, he
wouldn’t get stabbed. On the part of Ah Chong, he only tries to defend himself and their room
and the knife would be a reasonable protection by the means of it. But in addition, there are
still questions in my mind. Why would his roommate tried to open the door aggressively? Why
his roommate didn’t answer his question? Why he tried to open the door in the middle of the
night? Doesn’t he have the key of the room since they were roommate?
