LEARNING OUTLINES:

1. Teacher shows pictures of the animals to pupils.


2. Teacher introduces the names of the animals and encourage pupils to repeat
Pre Lesson after the teacher.
3. Pupils play guessing game.

Lesson 1. Teacher has pupils look at the story in textbook page 66 and asks the pupils
Development where Anna and Greg are. (They’re on a farm.)
2. Teacher asks pupils to tell what they think is happening in the pictures. (The
farmer is showing all the animals on the farm to the children.)
3. Teacher plays the video and encourages pupils to shadow read.
4. Teacher explains what the story is about.
5. Teacher selects random pupils to read the story.
6. Teacher elicits from pupils what they remember about singular and plural
nouns. (pencil = pencils)
7. Teacher directs pupils’ attention to the grammar box in page 67.
8. Teacher reads the left column and pupils repeat. (do the same with right
column)
9. Teacher explains about singular and plural nouns.
10. Teacher points out that nouns ending in -s, -ss, -sh, -ch, -x, -o take ‘es’ in the
plural. Give pupils more examples. (bus-buses, dress-dresses, sandwich-
sandwiches, box-boxes, potato-potatoes)

11. Teacher points out nouns ending in -f take ‘-ves’ in the plural. Give examples.
(scarf-scarves)
12. Teacher also points out that some nouns have irregular plural forms. (eg.
tooth-teeth, foot-feet)
13. Pupils do guess singular/plural activity.

2. Teacher discusses the answers with pupils.
3. Pupils are given Quizziz.
