PHILOSOPHY Inspired by Dr. Jose Rizal’s educational principles, LCBA Education upholds a balanced

CLASSROOM CONDUCT
Attendance
It is a student’s responsibility to attend all classes. Only 20% of the total number of hours of the subject is allowed. If a
class meeting is missed, the student is responsible for content covered, announcements made in his/her absence,
and for acquiring materials distributed in class.
Tardiness
It is expected that students will be on time for all classes. A student is considered absent if he/she arrives 25 minutes
late in the lecture. Three tardiness shall be considered one absence.
Behavior
Students are expected to follow ordinary rules of courtesy during class sessions. The instructor has the right to eject a
disruptive student from the class at any time.
EXAMS
Students must take the exams when they are normally scheduled. It is the students’ responsibility to be present to take
and complete all exams. Absence constitutes a zero score on any missed exam. Each exam can be taken one time
only and there normally will be no make-ups. In the case of an emergency, the student must contact the instructor

within 24 hours. Examination questions may be objective (multiple choice, T-F, matching, or fill-in the-blank) and/or
short answer essay. You are expected to arrive on time in order to take the test.
LCBAian students are committed to abide by the LCBA EDUCARE Online Distance Learning Standards as stipulated
below:
A. Synchronous
1. Attend the scheduled online class regularly. They enter the meeting room at least five minutes before the
start of the class.
2. Accomplish the google form attendance from the link given in the chatbox.
3. Turn on the video so that they can be seen and can engage in all activities with their classmates and
teachers as if they are in the same room despite the distance.
4. Wear decent attire and maintain proper grooming.
5. Keep their microphone muted to prevent background noise that may disrupt the speaker.
6. Respect their teachers and classmates. They are enjoined to use polite words in expressing their ideas and
opinions.
7. Listen attentively and take down important information.
8. Wait for their turn to speak and are allowed to unmute their microphone when they want to ask questions.
9. Participate actively in all class activities. They are required to refrain from doing unrelated or unnecessary
tasks while the session is ongoing.
B. Asynchronous
1. Access their Google Classroom account regularly to check for scheduled tasks to be done.
2. Follow instructions carefully.
3. Accomplish tasks and assignments diligently.
4. Respect the intellectual property rights of the school and refrain from prohibited reproduction and sharing of
learning resources.
5. Refrain from abusive or offensive language in posting comments or messages in the chat rooms, forums,
emails, etc.
6. Submit tasks on time.
C. During assessment
1. Observe honesty in answering all exercises, formative assessments and other written examinations.
2. Take major examinations on the scheduled date and time.
3. Work collaboratively with classmates and teachers in doing performance-based assessments.
4. Communicate with the subject teachers in improving their academic and behavioral performance.
