    OBJECTIVE OF EXERCISE:

    The objective of this exercise is:


    Understand how to determine ELEMENTS OF TIDE using Admiralty Tide Tables.

    EXERCISE DESCRIPTION:

    Remarks:
    1. Use for answer College’s Answer Form in Word format.
    2. Show your calculations and formulas used for calculations, if any.

    In this exercise, you should answer the questions ( use Admiralty Tide Tables) :

    1. Calculate time and heights of HW and LW in port WARSASH, UK (time zone – GMT) on the
    14.03.2000 (use tidal prediction form).
    2. Find heights of tide at 07.30 and 12.30 LT 14.03.2000.
    3. Draw daily MEAN SPRING AND NEAP CURVES.
    4. Find tidal range.
    5. Find tide gates (time interval) when height of water is higher than 2.5 m.
    6. Find time when height of water is 1.0 m exactly.
