    1.0 PURPOSE

    1.1 The objective of this method validation is to ensure an optimal calibration procedure for Compression
    Machines, providing accurate results prior to implementation and that the procedure meets the
    requirements for the intended application.implementation and that the procedure.

    2.0 PROCEDURE

    Note: The techniques used for the determination of the performance of the method are the following:

    a. Calibration using reference standards or reference materials;


    b. Systematic assessment of the factors influencing the result;
    c. Assessment of the uncertainty of the results based on scientific understanding of the theoretrical principles
    of the method and practical experience.

    2.1 Calibration shall be carried out to determine if the methodology is applicable to the equipment under test.
    2.2 The equipment that will be used for calibration shall be as extensive as is necessary to meet the needs of
    the given application or field of application.
    2.3 Perform calibration as instructed by the procedure, MPC-CMC-001
    2.4 Note and record all readings from the calibrated standard and unit under test, if applicable.
    2.5 Identify all possible contributors influencing or affecting the calibration result.
    2.6 Calculate for the measurement uncertainty.
    2.7 Verify all readings with the inclusion of the measurement uncertainties are within specified limits.
    2.8 If the gathered calibration results are found within specified limits, the validated method is fit for intended
    use
