P., (CE) Industrial visit of S8 ECE students scheduled from 30th March to 10th 34 April is permitted on the condition that the students shall report for HoD (ECE) 18/01/2023 class on 10th April, 2023. 35 Decided that the duty leave will be sanction as per KTU regulations All HoDs 18/01/2023 and it shall be reported within the specified time. Warden reported that there are vacancies existing for priority-I (BPL/PH/SC/ST) students of higher semester in the Hostels as all priority-I applicants of higher semesters are given admission. On the other hand, we are not able to provide admission for many first year Priority I students as there are no vacancies in this category in Warden, the seats earmarked for first year students. We are bound to allocate Hostel first year rooms in a separate part of the hostel as per the orders of Office 36 the Hon'ble Supreme Court. In these circumstances, the following 18/01/2023 decisions are taken: 1. Priority I Vacancies existing for higher semester students shall be transferred to first year students. 2. Warden shall shift higher semester students to vacant seats if required for making rooms for first year students to meet the criterion ordered by the Hon'ble apex court.
Decided to forward the submission from a faculty member for
considering the implementation of Uniform for students in CET to Directorate of Technical Education, with the following additional 37 remarks. G2 Section 18/01/2023 1. Dean (R) Guidelines for availing Casual Leave for M.Tech Students having PG scholarship
1. PG students availing scholarship are to be present on all
working days in the campus. 2. If the student is absent on a day, casual leave shall be marked 41 in the attendance register. Dean (PG) 18/01/2023 3. PG students are eligible for 15 days of casual leave in an academic year. 4. Prior approval is mandatory for availing leave. 5. Casual leaves are to be availed only on personal exigencies. Casual leave in a month maybe limited so as to meet the minimum attendance percentage in each month for getting PG scholarship. 42 HoD’s shall ensure the registration of student in 7th semester who did All HoDs 18/01/2023 not get placement so far, in the DWMS portal.
