(*1) The local ventilation system expresses how to install a ventilating fan in the nearness
of the exhaust port of a compressor unit. 1/3 - 1/2 of the air capacity which are
exhausted from a compressor discharge to the exterior by the ventilating fan directly.
(*2) The quantity of the ventilation shows the flow rate at the time of making an indoor
allowable-temperature rise into 5℃(9゚F) to open air temperature.
■ INSTALLING A VENTILATING DUCT
Be sure to install a ventilating duct if it is impossible to
provide a ventilating fan in a totally-closed room.
Do not mount the compressor directly on the ventilating duct
with screws (at inspection, the duct can be removed easily).
Install wire net at the exit of the duct so that birds or big
refuse cannot get in.
Prevent rain water entering into the exit of the duct.
Minimize a duct bend (maximum tolerance of 5mmH2O) as
much as possible to avoid resistance.
Maximize a radius as much as possible when bending the duct.
Install a ventilating fan at the exit of the duct if the exhaust
duct has a pressure loss of more than 5mmH2O.
In installing a ventilating fan at a discharge duct,
make sure to select a heat-resistant type of fan
(for high temperature : 80℃(176゚F)) and keep a ◆ Genuine expansion duct

PIPING
1. An unsupported long piping may cause for vibration and, as a result, the devices to
which such piping is connected may be damaged. The piping must be properly
supported (using hangers, fasteners, columns, etc.).
2. When more than two units of compressors are installed and their discharge piping are
connected to the same discharge main pipe, be sure to provide the stop valves before the
discharge main pipe so that they can be closed when the operations of the compressors
are stopped.
3. Slope the main pipe in the discharge air flow direction so that condensate does not
gather in the middle of piping.
4. Provide a drainage at the bottom part of pipe if there is concave or riser piping.
5. To prevent condensate reverse flow connect a discharge pipe at the top of the main pipe.
6. It is necessary to install the drain pipe, because drain is discharge from dryer.
(Dryer integrated type)
7. In order to press down pressure fluctuation small, install the piping capacity more than
surely proper capacity (air reciver tank) in discharge piping.
