    A Semi-Detailed LESSON PLAN in MUSIC 1

    Quarter 2-Week 8

    Learning Performs songs with the knowledge when to start, stop, Code:
    Competency/ies: repeat or end the song. MU1FO-IIf-3

    I. Objectives
    Identifies with body movements the beginnings and endings in music, and
    Knowledge repeats in music.

    Performs songs with the knowledge when to start and end the song with correct
    Skills body movements.

    Attitudes Shows active participation in singing songs.

    Values Appreciates children’s songs through singing and body movements.

    II. Content Beginnings and Endings in Music

    III. Procedures
    Recall a song from the previous lesson, “Ako si Takuri”. Let the pupils sing the
    song with action if they can.

    Show the lyrics of the song.

    Tune:Leron Leron Sinta

    Ako si Takuri

    Ako si takuri ,pandak at mataba


    A. Review
    Ito ang hawakan at ito ang buhusan

    Kapag ako’y kumukulo ,kulo kulo kulo

    Hawaka moa ko at ibuhos mo.

    Ask: What is the title of the song?

    B. Motivation Ask: Do you know the song “Tudo tudo?

    Show the lyric of the song and teach the tune(Sisiwit)

    Tudo, tudo agsardeng ka

    Ta mapanak agiskwela

    No mamingsan agtudo ka

    Ta sibsibugam ti mulmula
    Accompany with body movements. Pupils follow the body movements assigned
    to each line.

    Ask: What do you feel while singing the song with body movements?

    Are the movements easy?

    Difficult?

    Is it more enjoyable to sing the song with or without body movement?

    Ask: From the song Tudo -tudo How many musical lines does this song have? (4
    musical lines)

    What is the beginning of the song?

    What is the ending of the song?

    Say: You can now identify the beginning and ending of the song. Let’s learn another

    song.

    Study the song “sitsiritsit ”. (Show video if applicable.)

    Salaginto,salagubang,ang babae sa lansangan
    C. Presentation
    Kung gumuri parang tandang

    . The teacher reads the lyrics of the song then, pupils will follow.

    B. The teacher sings the song then, pupils will follow.

    C. The teacher and pupils sing the song. Pupils show active participation during
    the activity.

    D. Discussion Ask: How many musical lines can you see?

    Let’s count (3)

    Who will come and write the number 3 on the board

    Try this:

    1. Who can identify the beginning of the song ,box the musical line?
    2. Who can identify the ending of the song ,circle the musical line
    3. (teacher explain the beginning and ending of the song)

    Let the pupils sing the song, let them put their hand below their face in the
    beginning of the song or first musical line

    let them stomp their feet in the middle part of the song or the middle musical
    line of the song.

    Then, let the pupils clap for the ending part of the song or the ending musical
    line of the song.

    How do we sing the every line of the song?(we accompany it with body
    movement?

    Did you ever identify the beginning and ending of the song?

    How do you feel while singing the song?

    Why are you happy?
