Starter 1. Pupils and teacher greet and ask about each other well-being. CCTS
2. First, teacher write the LOs on the blackboard. Explains to pupils what they are going to learn and - Generating ideas
teacher’s expectation from them in the lesson today. - Making connections and

Main Activities 1. Split the class into groups of 4 or 5. Give them the names of places. Example: school, hospital, HOTS
football stadium, petrol station, beach - Analysis
2. Pupils must write the rules for one of the places assigned to them and then read out the rules to the
class. The other groups repeat the rules and guess the location. Multiple Intelligences
3. Pupils read a text on recycling. - Verbal-linguistic Intellige
4. Pupils choose the sentences that depict the do’s and don’ts’. - Interpersonal Intelligence
5. Pupils write the do’s and don’ts’ on a sticky note and paste it on a combo mat.
6. Pupils discuss the answers in a group.
7. Roam or Remain – One of the pupils from each group remains at the table. The others move from
one table to another by writing other rules related to the topic.
8. Pupils present their work to the class.
9. Pupils are given a worksheet to match the do’s and don’ts.
