About DCM TEXTILES

 In1909,Shri Ram joined DCM at the age of 25 years. Lala Shri Ram’s earlier
entrepreneurial initiatives had ended in debacles. It was in 1917 at DCM at the end of
the First World War that he got the opportunity to choose entrepreneurial
alternatives. It was Madan Mohan Lall and Shri Ram’s managerial initiatives in
expanding the Company’s government business during the First World War that
brought about the recovery in DCM. He came in to prominence as he wanted DCM to
expand. Along the years he diversified into many other businesses also.
Company Workmen Administration role and responsibilities

 Responsible for smooth processing of Company Workmen administration at Plant.


 Calculation salary and reward timely with minimum grievances.
 Using Savior software for Attendance process.
 Handling ERP for processing the data of employees.
 Proper MIS punch system approval for attendance work.
 Leave management system(CL,PL,SL,ODL) of staff and operators
 Shift management.
 Esi leave management.
 On roll reports.
 Daily advance and attendance related grievances handling.
 Biometric enrollment of all employees.
 Calculation of salary and reward of all workmen’s.
 Arrears calculation.
 Staff advance system.
 Implementation of new policies with the coordination of system team.
 External and internal audits.

Contract Workmen Administration role and responsibilities.

 Responsible for smooth processing of Contract Workmen administration at Plant.


 Timely completion of gate passes system for contract workmen for entry into plant
and maintaining smooth coordination with departments.
 Ensure work Indents and work order of all contractors labour and raise indents with
coordination of production dept if any deficiency.
 Ensure to maintain all registers & half yearly returns to labor department by
contractors.
 Checking the contractor bills to maintain Minimum wages by contractors and
ensuring to PF, ESI.
 Correction and matched of attendance with the actual deployment by the dept.
 Bill passing and work completion of contractual labour.
 Employee master creation of new labour
 Salary head approval of contractual labour.

IR & Welfare Management:


 Responsible for complete welfare activities for the Company. These are supervision
of welfare provisions like Employees’ Canteen, CW Canteen Uniforms, Drinking
Water, Sanitation, Furniture Requirements, General Administration, Event and
Facility Management.

Statutory Compliance & Liaising:

 Liaison with Govt bodies like Labor, Factories, ESI, PF & Apprentice dept for Statutory
Compliances.
 Ensure compliances with all payment Under Minimum wage act of haryana
 Strengthened the statutory compliance of the unit by Canteen Committee and Sexual
Harassment Redressal Committee.
 Returns under various act:-
 Haryana welfare return:-Yearly,Halfly,quarterly returns under factory act 1948.
 Employment exchange returns ,ER1
 Bonus form D
 Holiday list compliance.
 Sexual harassment return
 Single integrated return Under factory act 1948.
 NAPS Compliances under apprentice act 1961,included apprentice attendance, marks
and exams.
 Absentee letter compliances to the left operators under factory act 1948.

On-Boarding Process:

 Has been taking care of On-boarding process like Background verification, joining
formalities, Induction, Reference Checks.
 Medical Checkup, organizational announcements, New Hire Orientation, Medical
Insurance, ID Cards, Work Station arrangement, Introducing to all departments and
Uniform allotment etc.

Employee Engagement & training faculty


 Involved in employee engagement survey through Welfare department.
 Based on score card, preparing of action plan for engagement activities.
 Operators awareness programs.
 Operators training with self-check screen system

HR Budgeting:

 Preparation of Budget for Canteen, Time office, Contract workmen for Revenue
expenses. To ensure that, the HR operations are carried on within the Budget
through Proper budget.

Exit Formalities

 Handling full and final settlements.


 Processing all retrial benefits like PF, Gratuity, Pension, Exgratia, Superannuation,
EDLI and all other insurance claims.

 Responsible for 5s activities at plant welfare areas and canteen to keep hygiene.
