INTRODUCTION
The objectives of AICTE student activity is to expose students to the real time life
challenges, to provide opportunity to gather data, analyse data, propose solutions and
implement solutions, provide an opportunity for personal development, to create
engineers who are proud volunteers having a sense of achievement and ready to take
up projects having social impact and to create digital awareness.
We started our activity by visiting the Government higher Primary School,

Battiganahalli, Sira (T), Madugiri(D)- 572125. We have been there for six days with
four members in the group all of us from Acharya institute of technology, department
of mechanical engineering and conducted activities on behalf of AICTE Activity
Point. In this school there are 90 students, so we have planned to do some of the
useful activities in the school.
This activity is conducted on 15/06/2022 to 21/06/2022 at Government higher Primary

School, Battiganahalli, Sira (T), Madugiri(D)- 572125.

OBJECTIVES
The objectives of this activity are:
• To spreading the awareness about our environment.
• To teach the school students about the importance of cleanliness.
• To educate children.
• To teach students about basic knowledge of computer.
• To distribution study materials to students.
Work carried out:
On 15/06/2022 to 16/06/2022
• Taking permission from the headmaster of the school.
• Planned to conduct activity.
• Cleaning the school surrounding.
• Spreading the awareness about our environment.
On 17/06/2022 to 20/06/2022
• Teach the basic knowledge of computer.
• Give the hands on experience of laptop.
On 21/06/2022
• Distribution study materials to students.
SPREADING THE AWARENESS ABOUT OUR
ENVIRNOMENT
A school is a place for education, and it’s also a place where students can socialize and
develop skills that will help them later in life. When it comes to making sure school is a safe
environment, the importance of cleanliness in school cannot be overlooked. If you’re
interested in learning how you can ensure that your school is clean, read on to learn more and
discover a few tips for school cleanliness that you can put to good use. Dirt and grime
promote the spread of germs, which can also encourage the spread of communicable diseases.
A clean school is crucial to ensure that children and teachers don’t get sick.
One way to ensure that your school stays clean is to enlist the help of students. As a
teacher, a clean classroom will make learning a much more pleasant experience for all. Give
your students a special task that they should complete at the end of every learning day.
Whether it’s putting pencils and pens back in their cups or wiping down the desks, it’s a good
way to encourage productive teamwork. You don’t need to ask students to scrub the floors,
but simple tidying up will do. Task each student with one easy thing they can do daily that
will ensure your classroom and surrounding stays organized.
When it comes down to it, the importance of cleanliness in school is related to

educational success. A clean school ensures a positive and healthy environment for everyone
involved. Show your school pride with a clean facility that fosters productive learning and
positivity. Work together as a team to ensure that everyone does their part to make your
school a clean and safe place to learn.

TEACHING THE BASIC OF
COMPUTERS
Computer education is a part of the school curriculum in nearly all the private schools,
however, a lot of government, semi-government educational institutions in our country are
still deprived of quality computer education.
In today’s world, the knowledge of computer software or hardware is a basic

necessity for a lot of jobs. By making students from underprivileged sections of the society
computer literate will mean making them competent and better suited for today’s job market
or pursue higher studies. This will also improve their prospects of getting into a better job.
We can therefore safely conclude- lack of basic computer skills can certainly be looked upon
as a hindrance to an individual’s development.
Computers can make the process of learning interesting as well as knowledge-rich. It can
attract the students to learn progressively, resulting in more individuals having multiple
options of going towards higher education, computers create opportunities for them in
today’s job market by enhancing the quality of education being given to them.

CONCLUSION
The programme induced by AICTE helped to create the awareness about our environment,
teach the basic knowledge about basic of computer to the local students. which was a great
experience to interact with the students. It also helped us in learning various things in the
process of creating awareness among the students.
We met a lot of people during the activity who supported us throughout the activity.
This activity gave us a chance to teach few things to students at school. We are grateful for
the school’s management for giving the opportunity to spend time with them. . Things learnt
now by the students will help them create a better society to live in future.
