I. PROGRAM PROFILE

Assessment
Rationale
Program The SLAC on 21st Century Skills and ICT Integration in
Description
Instruction and Assessment is a training program designed for
teachers and school administrators to understand and
effectively implement the new guidelines on the RPMS-PPST.
The SLAC session aims to provide participants with a
comprehensive understanding of the new guidelines, including
the key principles, components, and processes involved in the
RPMS-PPST. It also aims to equip participants with the
necessary skills and knowledge to effectively assess and
manage employee performance, and to make fair and unbiased
promotion and selection decisions based on performance.
The SLAC session is designed to be delivered through a one
day training session and interactive activities, which will
provide participants with hands-on experience in applying the
new guidelines to real-world scenarios. Topics covered in the
program will include:
 Overview of the RPMS-PPST system and its key
principles and components.
 RPMS Cycle for Teachers
 RPMS-PPST Indicators for Proficient and Highly

By completing the SLAC on Understanding the New Guidelines


on the RPMS-PPST for School Year 2022-2023, participants
will be able to effectively implement the new guidelines on the
RPMS-PPST system, and to support a culture of performance
excellence and continuous improvement in their schools. They
will also be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge
to support their colleagues in implementing the system, and to
contribute to the overall success of their schools and the
education system as a whole.
