FIRST QUARTER
At the beginning of the school year, I need to create a welcoming and inclusive
classroom atmosphere where my learners feel safe to express their ideas and opinions also
created a warm and inviting classroom environment with age-appropriate decorations and
materials. I established routines and procedures that promote a sense of safety and belonging
to my learners. I encourage social interactions and provide opportunities for my learners for
them to build relationships with peers. Foster positive relationships between me and my
learners. I also set clear expectations and rules on the first day of the class. As a teacher you
need to recognize their unique strengths, weaknesses, interests, and learning styles. Because it
promotes personalized learning experiences to meet the needs of my learners. This may
involve adjusting the activities, instructional materials, and strategies on how to deliver the
lessons to accommodate my learners. I also determine the Learning Goals for my learners
that align with the curriculum and their interests and ensure that the goals are challenging yet
achievable, promoting growth and continuous improvement for my learners.
SECOND QUARTER
Creating a learner-centered approach for kindergarten learners throughout the
academic year involves adapting teaching strategies and activities to meet the developmental
needs and interests of young children.
During the second quarter I offered small group or one-on-one instruction to provide targeted
support and enrichment. I also promoted social-emotional Development such as implement
daily routines that promotes self-regulation and emotional well-being such as sharing, taking
turns, and problem-solving and encourage them to express their thoughts, ideas, and feelings
through language. I also encouraged active exploration because it provides hands-on learning
centers or stations where children can explore different materials, puzzles, and games. I also
introduce the Love for reading. I Read a variety of stories aloud, exposing children to
different characters and situations. Encouraged my learners to engaged in shared reading,
independent reading, and storytelling activities.
THIRD QUARTER
Throughout the third quarter grading period, I consistently focused on nurturing
learners I encourage Collaboration to promote cooperative learning activities where the
learners work together in pairs or small groups. I provide opportunities for children to
practice active listening and effective communication skills. Foster a supportive and inclusive
classroom culture that values collaboration and empathy. I also develop Critical Thinking
Skills incorporate puzzles, problem-solving activities, and critical thinking games into daily
lessons. To encourage learners to think creatively. I integrate arts to offer opportunities for
artistic expression through drawing, painting, music, and dance.
FOURTH QUARTER
As the fourth quarter grading period ends, it’s time to celebrate achievements I
organized culminating events or showcases to celebrate children's accomplishments. Invite
parents, families, and other students to share in the children's achievements. I recognized and
acknowledged the individual strengths and growth of each child and remember to
continuously observe and assess children's progress throughout the year, adjusting
instructional strategies and activities to meet their evolving needs and interests. By creating a
learner-centered environment and incorporating age-appropriate, engaging activities, you can
support kindergarten learners in their social, emotional, and academic development.
