Part (A) : Ship Stability ;

How much cargo can she load to her tropical marks on reaching the sea if she
consume 15 tons of bunker on her passage, TPC = 30 (17M)

Q.2) - A vessel’s Displ = 40000t, KG = 10.80m and FSE = 0.20m.

Draw the curve of statical stability and using the curve find the followings:
a) - Range of positive stability,
b) - The maximum righting lever and the angle at which it occurs,
c) - The righting moment at 25º of heel. (16M)

Q.3) - A ship of displ= 7500t, KM=8.60m, KG=7.80m lost a quantity of deck cargo (kg = 12m)
from 4m to starboard of the center line, if the resulting list is 3º 20´ to port.
Calculate the weight of the deck cargo lost. (17M)
