    A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND APPROVING THE BARANGAY NUTRITION ACTION


    PLAN OF _________________, SAN FERNANDO, CAMARINES SUR FOR CALENDAR
    YEAR 2023.

    WHEREAS, the Barangay Nutrition Council (BNC) has prioritized the programs, projects
    and activities geared towards its fight against malnutrition in the municipality for Calendar Year
    2023;

    WHEREAS, these projects, programs and activities will be implemented in the homes,
    schools and community which include food production, micronutrient supplementation, food
    fortification, food assistance, livelihood assistance, nutrition education, and capacity building for
    nutrition workers;

    WHEREAS, the BNAP contains the consolidated plans and interventions of the various
    programs, projects and activities of the different committees of the Barangay Council, flagship
    plan of Municipal Government Unit, Line Agencies and Non-Government Organizations that are
    supportive in addressing nutrition related issues and promotion of good nutrition;

    WHEREAS, a careful review/scrutiny on the Plan reveals that it is comprehensive,


    containing all information and data including the programs and projects related to nutrition for
    Calendar Year 2023 and is geared toward the attainment of the objective which is to decrease
    malnutrition;

    WHEREAS, the body have approved to allocate an amount of ____________________ for


    Barangay Nutrition Budget 2023 and consequently, the majority of the identified nutrition
    programs, projects, and activities shall be partaken and mainstreamed from various local funds of
    the barangay;

    NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE


    SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY IN SESSION, to adopt/approve the Barangay Nutrition Action
    Plan of ______________, San Fernando, Camarines Sur for Calendar Year 2023, copy of the same
    is hereto attached;

    On motion of ____________________ duly seconded, foregoing resolution was


    unanimously approved.

    UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
