    NARRATIVE REPORT ON 3RD QUARTER NATIONWIDE


    EARTHQUAKE DRILL
    In the pursuant of the approved National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council

    (NDRRMC) Memorandum No. 90, s. 2021 titled ‘Participation to the Third Quarter Nationwide

    Simultaneous Earthquake Drill 2021 Activities’ the office of the Undersecretary for Administration (OUA),

    through the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Service (DRRMS), enjoins schools and offices across

    all levels of the department of Education (DepEd) to participate in the 2021 3 rd Quarter Nationwide

    simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), San Pedro Integrated school conducted an earthquake drill to the

    teachers and staffs last September 9, 2021.

    This activity has religiously implemented by the school to assure the safety and security of the

    students and teachers in the time of earthquake and other natural disasters.

    It was participated by both elementary and junior high school teachers, led by the school Principal

    Mercedita B. Obnimaga, ESP III.

    The school believes that preparedness is the key to this kind of disasters.

    the earthquake

    (alarm), the teachers were doing their usual routine:

    doing their tasks, accomplishing paper works and

    conducting meeting or conferences.

    Proper exercise/practice of Duck, Cover and Hold while complying the social distancing protocols

    and other COVID restrictions such as wearing of face masks.

    AFTER EARTHQUAKE

    After the earthquake, the teachers evacuate to a safe area, or evacuation area. Still following health

    protocols. They are preparing for aftershocks.
