Main: 1.1.1 Recognise and reproduce with support a limited range of high frequency target language
phonemes
Complementary: 3.1.2 Recognise and sound out with some support beginning, medial and final
sounds in a word

Objektif Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to listen and conduct at least 3 acts correctly.
Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to read and point to at least 4 pictures
correctly.
Aktiviti Pre-lesson: Pupils read through the story in textbook page 98 and 99.
Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils refer to textbook page 99. Pupils read through the sentence about Greg.
2. Pupils listen to audio CD 3 28 and practise saying out the sentence.
3. Pupils are prompted to say out the sentence faster.
4. Teacher says phrases like ride a bike, swim and stand on one leg…..Pupils do as teacher says.
5. Audio CD3 30 is played and pupils listen to the track and point the correct picture.
6. Pupils are called out at random to pick a strip of paper. When a pupil reads the phrase, everyone in
the class must do what is said by their friend.
Post-lesson: Pupils play the tongue twister game again.
*Pupils are asked to bring their paper bag puppet for the next lesson.

6. Pupils complete the comprehension questions (M). Pupils are guided to complete the questions (L).

Aktiviti Pre-lesson: Pupils complete their final touch-up on their paper bag puppets.
Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils are explained about describing and presenting their monster puppet.
2. Pupils plan a write-up about their monster puppet describing their monster (colour, body parts, what
it can do, superpower) (M). Pupils are guided to complete the write-up (L).
3. Pupils start practising their write-ups with their puppets.
4. Pupils walk around the class to introduced their puppet. Pupils take note of their friends’ puppets in
the form of graphic organisers.
Post-lesson: Pupils share their collected details about their friends with others.

Aktiviti Pre-lesson: Pupils visit their monster write-ups from last week’s lesson.
Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils are introduced to the teacher's pet monster. Teacher also presents about the pet monster.
2. Pupils are explained about their monster creation posters.
3. Pupils sit in pairs and start discussing their pet monster. They draw their monsters.
4. They label the parts of their pet monster and write a paragraph describing their monster.
5. Pupils decorate/colour their monsters. Pupils put up their posters and prepare for a gallery walk.
Post-lesson: The class walks around together and stops at posters for presentations by their friends.
*Pupils are asked to bring a paper bag, marker and thread to make a paper bag puppet.

Aktiviti Pre-lesson: Each group is given a set of sentence puzzle from Lesson 19 to match with the correct
conjunction.
Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils look through Exercise 7 in Year 2 Step by Step Writing Module Part 1.
2. Pupils can ask if there are any words that they don’t understand.
3. Pupils are guided through Year 2 Step by Step Writing Module Part 1.
4. Pupils are called out randomly to make sentences based on a different substitution table on the
board.
5. Pupils complete section A, B, C and D in the module.
Post-lesson: Pupils’ sentences are checked. A few sentences are written on the board without capital
letters and full stops. Pupils are called to the front to correct the sentences.
