NOTES:
1 Combined testing of VFD along with motor for hazardous area application as per specification shall be carried out by vendor .
The interface with remote control room DCS shall be either through hardwired connection (with potential free contacts and transducers) or through

serial communication link as required and detailed in the DCS I/O list

3 Interface/control requirement between VFD / LCS / switchboards/DCS/ECS shall be finalized as per process/operational requirement during detail
engineering.
4 VFD shall have required interface with ECS as per the ECS I/O list.

5 Bypass for VFD shall be provided only if the drive shall continue to run in case of VFD failure as required by the process.
