Narrative Report: Outreach Program at Marapange Integrated School

Date: June 9, 2023

The outreach program at Marapange Integrated School on June 9 was a memorable and
successful event that aimed to foster unity, cultural exchange, and provide support to the
students of Marapange. The program commenced with an opening prayer, followed by the
singing of the national anthem, and the opening remarks delivered by one of the instructor of
Nstp,. The event kicked off with captivating performances by the first-year NSTP students.
They showcased their talents through a dance presentation and a song performance,
captivating the audience and setting an energetic and festive atmosphere for the rest of the
program.

All first-year NSTP students attended the outreach program, demonstrating their
commitment to community service and their willingness to engage with the students of
Marapange. Each section of NSTP contributed by bringing snacks and food items to share
with the Marapange students. This thoughtful gesture aimed to provide them with
nourishment and create a sense of camaraderie and support. To accommodate the students,
the venue was divided into two areas. The high school students of Marapange ate beside the
barangay, fostering interaction and promoting a sense of community among the students. The
marapange students were able to show their talents by dance presentations. Meanwhile, the
elementary students had their meals at their school's covered area, ensuring their comfort and
convenience. The program consisted of various activities designed to engage and entertain
the participants. Alongside the distribution of snacks, a hearty lunch was provided to all
attendees. The NSTP students and the students of Marapange sat together, sharing stories,
laughter, and enjoying the delicious meals. It was a beautiful sight witnessing students from
different backgrounds coming together, building connections, and promoting inclusivity. In
addition to the meals, the program incorporated a range of activities to promote learning,
team building, and fun. Games and team-building exercises were organized, encouraging the
participants to work together, fostering camaraderie and cooperation. These activities
facilitated interaction between the NSTP students and the Marapange students, breaking
down barriers and creating a platform for cultural exchange and friendship. The highlight of
the program was the heartfelt message delivered by the NSTP instructor. The instructor
emphasized the significance of service, empathy, and the value of education. They
commended the efforts of the first-year NSTP students and expressed gratitude to the
Marapange Integrated School for their warm welcome and hospitality.

The outreach program at Marapange Integrated School on June 9 was a resounding


success, leaving a lasting impact on both the NSTP students and the Marapange students. It
provided an avenue for the first-year NSTP students to extend their support, friendship, and
cultural understanding to the students of Marapange. The event created a sense of

Narrative Report: 7-Day Cleaning outside RCVMCFI

Dates: March 26, April 1, 15, 22, 29, May 6 and 13

The 7-day cleaning outside RCVMCFI was a collaborative effort by the Section 8
students, taking responsibility for cleaning their designated area. From March 26 to May 13,
on selected dates, Section 8 diligently engaged in various cleaning activities, including
cutting grass, sweeping the area, and disposing of garbage.

Day 1 (March 26):


On March 26, Section 8 embarked on the cleaning program with great enthusiasm. They
started by assessing their assigned area and determining the necessary cleaning tasks. With
equipment in hand, they began cutting the overgrown grass, ensuring a neat and well-
maintained appearance.
Day 2 (April 1):
Continuing their commitment to cleanliness, Section 8 gathered on April 1 to resume the
cleaning program. They focused on sweeping the area, removing any debris, and ensuring
that the surroundings were tidy and free of dirt. Their collective efforts contributed
significantly to enhancing the overall cleanliness of their designated space.
Day 3 (April 15):
April 15 marked the third day of Section 8's participation in the cleaning program. They
demonstrated unwavering dedication and determination, actively engaging in the task at
hand. They not only maintained the cleanliness achieved in previous sessions but also
extended their efforts by organizing and tidying up the area, creating a more inviting
environment.
Day 4 (April 22):
On April 22, Section 8 continued their pursuit of cleanliness. They diligently worked
together, focusing on the removal of garbage and ensuring that all waste was appropriately
disposed of. Additionally, they paid attention to specific areas that required extra care,
leaving no corner untouched in their quest for a pristine environment.
Day 5 (April 29):
Section 8 gathered once again on April 29, eager to continue their efforts. With a keen eye for
detail, they assessed their designated area and addressed any cleanliness concerns that arose.
By proactively identifying and addressing cleanliness issues, they played a crucial role in
maintaining a clean and pleasant environment.
Day 6 (May 6):
The sixth day of the cleaning program arrived on May 6, and Section 8 remained dedicated to
their responsibilities. They approached their tasks with a sense of pride and ownership,
ensuring that the grass was well-trimmed, the area was free from debris, and any garbage was
promptly disposed of. Their consistent efforts played a vital role in sustaining cleanliness.

Day 7 (May 13):


May 13 marked the final day of the 7-day cleaning program for Section 8. With a sense of
accomplishment and satisfaction, they gathered for one last time to review their work. They
performed a thorough inspection of their designated area, ensuring that it was immaculate and
free from any signs of garbage or clutter.
Throughout the 7-day cleaning program, Section 8 exhibited exemplary teamwork,
commitment, and responsibility. By cutting grass, sweeping the area, and disposing of
garbage, they significantly contributed to maintaining cleanliness outside RCVMCFI. Their
dedication not only resulted in a visually pleasing environment but also instilled a sense of
pride and ownership among the NSTP students.
