The outreach program at Marapange Integrated School on June 9 was a memorable and
successful event that aimed to foster unity, cultural exchange, and provide support to the
students of Marapange. The program commenced with an opening prayer, followed by the
singing of the national anthem, and the opening remarks delivered by one of the instructor of
Nstp,. The event kicked off with captivating performances by the first-year NSTP students.
They showcased their talents through a dance presentation and a song performance,
captivating the audience and setting an energetic and festive atmosphere for the rest of the
program.
All first-year NSTP students attended the outreach program, demonstrating their
commitment to community service and their willingness to engage with the students of
Marapange. Each section of NSTP contributed by bringing snacks and food items to share
with the Marapange students. This thoughtful gesture aimed to provide them with
nourishment and create a sense of camaraderie and support. To accommodate the students,
the venue was divided into two areas. The high school students of Marapange ate beside the
barangay, fostering interaction and promoting a sense of community among the students. The
marapange students were able to show their talents by dance presentations. Meanwhile, the
elementary students had their meals at their school's covered area, ensuring their comfort and
convenience. The program consisted of various activities designed to engage and entertain
the participants. Alongside the distribution of snacks, a hearty lunch was provided to all
attendees. The NSTP students and the students of Marapange sat together, sharing stories,
laughter, and enjoying the delicious meals. It was a beautiful sight witnessing students from
different backgrounds coming together, building connections, and promoting inclusivity. In
addition to the meals, the program incorporated a range of activities to promote learning,
team building, and fun. Games and team-building exercises were organized, encouraging the
participants to work together, fostering camaraderie and cooperation. These activities
facilitated interaction between the NSTP students and the Marapange students, breaking
down barriers and creating a platform for cultural exchange and friendship. The highlight of
the program was the heartfelt message delivered by the NSTP instructor. The instructor
emphasized the significance of service, empathy, and the value of education. They
commended the efforts of the first-year NSTP students and expressed gratitude to the
Marapange Integrated School for their warm welcome and hospitality.
The 7-day cleaning outside RCVMCFI was a collaborative effort by the Section 8
students, taking responsibility for cleaning their designated area. From March 26 to May 13,
on selected dates, Section 8 diligently engaged in various cleaning activities, including
cutting grass, sweeping the area, and disposing of garbage.
