I. Lesson Objectives: At the end of the class discussion, the pupils should be
able to:
a. describe the proper way of bending and stretching to improve flexibility,
b. execute correct bending and stretching to improve body posture and
c. actively participate and enjoy a pair activity for fitness and fun.

The teacher will ask the pupils about the past lesson. She will ask
some questions, or clarifications about the yesterday’s lesson.

• Based on the song “Magtanim ay di biro” the teacher will ask questions with
the aid of some pictures showing farmers planting rice. The question are the
following:
1. The popular song was all about what?
2. How important is planting rice to us?
3. How the farmers plant the rice grass that the song tell it’s not easy
to plant a rice? Can you execute how it does?
b. Developmental Activities
1. Activity
Ready Get Set Go
Directions: Group the class into four columns. Ask the pupils to do the
following positions. The pupils must wait for the teacher’s Go signal
and freeze for five seconds.
Groups who did the positions correctly will move 1 step forward until a
group reaches the finish line. (Note to the teacher: Use the following
commands).
3. Abstraction
• Bending and stretching are movements that improve flexibility. The
proper way of doing these movements can prevent injury.
A flexible person can do many movements safely and assume good posture at all
times.
IV. Evaluation
Instruction: There are 9 body conditioning or exercises, choose only three
among the 9 exercises and list the step by step procedure on doing it. Write your
answer in one half crosswise yellow paper.
V. Assignment
Practice the different exercises that you’ve learn
List down five walking movements done with body shapes.
