SPOT ME! (oral activity)
Direction: Identify what type of recount is being presented in the
text.

1. “My family and I went to see the Philippine International Pyro


Musical Competition at the SM Mall of Asia last February. When
we arrived at the venue, we saw a lot of people patiently waiting
for the show to start. We went to our designated gate and tried
to get into a good location to see the show. The show started
with the pyro musical entry from London.

2. Metro Manila- A passing pedestrian saved a dog from getting


run over by a car near an intersection last Friday afternoon. It
was said that the dog, a Corgi, ran away from its owner, Mark
Walsh, after seeing a truck that had a large picture of dog treats
on its body.

3. On Children's Day in 1999, a technology company treated more


than 200 underprivileged children to a 'high-tech' experience.
They were given training on information technology.
