Prayer
Prayer is a general mode of communication with
God. It is the one channel established for men to
reach out to the Lord. It is having the ability to
speak, and converse with God.

There are different types of prayers, but today’s

society, most people have become ignorant
about this fact and have not received results in
their prayers.

In this book, we will demystify the mysteries

behind prayer. Knowledge is the greatest tool,
for anyone to function at the best of their
potentials. Therefore, in this book, we will
explain and touch on the types of prayers, I have
seen, to be very effective and result guaranteed.
1

The Speaking Blood

peaking the Blood, is the loudest voice in

S the realm of prayer. If you study from the

Old Testament, you will learn that the
blood of any sacrifice spoke, and God
would respond.

Genesis 4:4
And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock
and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect
unto Abel and to his offering:
5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not
respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his
countenance fell.
6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou
wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if
thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto
thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came
to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up
against, Abel his brother, and slew him.
9 And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy
brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's
keeper?
10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy
brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.

Abel’s voice cried to God and He responded to

Cain. Therefore, this is the highest form of
Sacrifice and it has God’s response.

I say this is the highest level of Prayer because

God sent His only begotten son to be sacrificed.
The blood of Jesus was spilled to cleanse all sin.

Hebrews 12:24
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to
the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things
than that of Abel.
That scripture proves that the blood of Jesus
speaks louder.

As a child of God, when you give something that

you dearly love, sacrificing it on the alter breaks
you inside. This is the kind of prayer that spills
blood. This is the blood that speaks to God, and
orders a release of your request.
2

Prayer of Breakthrough

here are times, we may pray, and still see

T no change in our lives. This kind of prayer

is usually for breakthrough. It may be in
business or finances. Where there is
material, results are required, or needed
for this kind of prayer, to engage. This is when
you sacrifice to God, you pray and give! Most
people don’t like this subject of giving, but love
the results of the prayer.

The truth cannot be ignored, your offering can

speak! Your giving can open tremendous
blessings for you, you will be amazed at the way
giving is a form of prayer that has instant
breakthrough.
Acts 10:30
And Cornelius said, four days ago I was fasting until
this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house,
and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
31 And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine
alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.

Glory to God! The bible states, “thine alms”,

which means, your offerings are seen in the sight
of God. It is important, to pay attention to detail.
Cornelius had been praying and fasting, but
scripture says, thine prayer and alms have been
heard and seen before God. There is emphasis on
the giving. This is a prayer that unlocks things in
your life. We also, have King Solomon who gave
a thousand burnt offerings. The Bible says his
offering reached the heavens and God came
down.

1 Kings 3:3
And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the
statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and
burnt incense in high places.
4 And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for
that was the great high place: a thousand burnt
offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.
5 In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a
dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give
thee.
6 And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy
servant David my father great mercy, according as he
walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and
in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept
for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him
a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.
7 And now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy
servant king instead of David my father: and I am but
a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.
8 And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which
thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be
numbered nor counted for multitude.
9 Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart
to judge thy people, that I may discern between good
and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a
people?
10 And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had
asked this thing.
11 And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked
this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life;
neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the
life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself
understanding to discern judgment;
12 Behold, I have done according to, thy words: lo, I
have given thee a wise and an understanding heart;
so, that there was none like thee before thee, neither
after thee shall any arise like unto thee.
13 And I have also given thee that which thou hast
not asked, both riches, and honour: so, that there shall
not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy
days.

How to pray! Our eyes can be open, to see how

this prayer can be very effective. This is a
sacrificial prayer, the kind that moves God in
His thrown. This is a prayer that shows that your
heart is totally sold out to Him. There is
absolutely, nothing too good, to give to the Lord.
You just give, and walk into the amazing
blessings of the Lord.

Psalms 126:5
They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious
seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,
bringing his sheaves with him.
There is a need to know, if you are praying for
financial breakthrough, you need to sow a seed.
The bible does not lie! The Psalmist says, you
will definitely reap and there is no need, to
debate this, just act and be blessed.

Revelations 8:3
And another angel came and stood at the altar,
having a golden censer; and there was given unto him
much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers
of all saints upon the golden altar which was before
the throne.

Offerings are burning incense to the Lord. It is

not by force, but if you desire real change, you
must do this and not doubt.
3

Tears of Prayer

L
ife is not a ride in the park. Life can be so
hard and difficult. There are times when
you suffer from hurt caused by man or the
devil; and you can’t take it anymore, and your
tears come out every time you are in prayer.
Those tears are a prayer that the Lord harkens to.

2 Kings 20:1
In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the
prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said
unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in
order; for thou shalt die, and not live.
2 Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto
the LORD, saying,
3 I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have
walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart,
and have done that which is good in thy sight. And
Hezekiah wept sore.
4 And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into
the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to
him, saying,
5 Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my
people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy
father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears:
behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go
up unto the house of the LORD.

Wonderful! The King was set to die, and he

turned to the wall and reminded the Lord of his
acts in the kingdom, but the Lord said I have
seen thy tears! The tears of the King moved God,
to change his day of death. Tears have a voice
which is heard by the Lord. The children of
Israel where in bondage for many years before
God spoke. The Bible says, God showed up
because He heard the cry of the children of
Israel.

Exodus 2:23
And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of
Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason
of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up
unto God by reason of the bondage.
God heard their cry and hid to the tears of the
children of Israel. This prayer moves God, to act
and deliver you from the oppressor. God always
answers prayers; but it depends on the kind of
prayer, you pray for and the kind of situation,
you are in.

Psalms 120:1
A Song of degrees. In my distress, I cried unto the
LORD, and he heard me.

The tears of Prayer always cause a change, and

you should take advantage of that.

Exodus 22:22
Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.
23 If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all
unto me, I will surely hear their cry;
24 And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you
with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and
your children fatherless.

God vowed, to come hard upon those that

mistreat the widows; because if at all, if their
tears hit the ground, then surely, He will avenge
them. Therefore, tears speak a voice of distress,
to the Lord and He is always keen to answer.
Tears can curse or bless, there are tears of joy
and tears of sorrow. There is no way, you can
escape the tears of sorrow, by oppressing others.
The day will come when their tears will be heard
of, to the Lord and He will react.
4

Prayer of The Loud Voice

T
his prayer is a prayer that moves angelic
hosts to act. It is a kind of prayer that is
well meditated, heartfelt, and spoken out
in a loud voice. This prayer has guarantees
because we see its effect in the book of Daniel.

Daniel 10:12
Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the
first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand,
and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were
heard, and I am come for thy words.
13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood
me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the
chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there
with the kings of Persia.

How amazing, the day Daniel set his heart to

pray he was heard. The angel of the Lord then
says, I was moved to come because of your
words. Look at it carefully, the angel says, “I am
come for thy words.” He didn’t say because of
your meditation, he didn’t say because of your
groaning, or crying, he specifically said your
words have summoned me.

A loud voice that summons Angels, to move or

be in action is Hallelujah! I see your prayer life
making more sense and moving to another level.
Don’t even complicate revelation – take it, as it
is, and you will see a great manifestation of God
in your life.

2Kings 6:17
And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee,
open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened
the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold,
the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire
round about Elisha.

This is a prayer of action, the Prophet’s servant,

began to see the Angels that surrounded them.
The Lord goes into action upon this kind of
prayer.
I tell you, as you begin to exercise these truths,
you will be mind-blown by the results you will
get.
5

The Prayer of the Mind

I
n everything you do, be mindful of the fact
that God is omnipresent. The Lord Jesus on
one occasion mentioned that, if you dare look
at a woman lustfully you have committed
adultery. He mentioned that because the mind
can communicate. You can speak with your
mind and heart – the Lord of Lords will hear
your inner voice.

It is important to be spiritually attuned to

everything about your life. This prayer is based
on meditation. When you set in your heart to
communicate with God, whatever it may be, you
need to have the scriptures that are in line with
your prayer.
You need to separate yourself from the day to
day life and begin to meditate – communicating
with God on the desires of your heart.

Proverbs 4:23
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the
issues of life.

There is so much you can accomplish through

this prayer. Surrender your heart and mind to
the purpose of your prayer. The Bible contains
solutions to every situation we can ever face in
this earth.

Thoughts have an effect in the realm of the spirit.

The devil was thrown down from heaven
because he thought, in his mind, that he could
build something higher than God.

Isaiah 14:12
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of
the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground,
which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend
into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of
God: I will sit also upon the mount of the
congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will
be like the most High.

That scripture shows us that Lucifer thought,

and God heard him. The Lord can hear thoughts.
6

Heart-felt Prayer

T
here are issues you can be burdened by, or
driven to by, the Holy Spirit. This is the
kind of prayer that has an automatic
response from God. At this point, you need to
have a sensitive spirit to hear the voice of the
spirit.

Hebrews 5:14
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age,
even those who by reason of use have their senses
exercised to discern both good and evil.

Here, I need you to focus on the spiritual senses

– this stage is where the Holy Spirit will push
you to pray. I know you would have gone
through this, after something bad happens. You
would have said something told me to pray and
I didn’t. You need to be vigilant. We are living in
trying times and our minds and hearts are the
greatest agents of spiritual activity here on earth.
Most times, this prayer is not directed at
personal agendas but for mass prayer requests.
The most important thing you need to know is,
you are important to God, because for the
heavenly to intervene, there is need for a body
here on earth.

Unction can be driven into your heart, and you

will start feeling the urge to kneel and pray don’t
hesitate – begin to pray. It is not always, that you
know what to pray for, but the spirit will be
there to assist you.

Romans 8:26
Likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for
we know not what we should pray for as we ought:
but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with
groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is
the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession
for the saints according to, the will of God.
The Lord knows what we need, more than, we
know what we need. He is everywhere and He
has said it in His word.

1Peter 5:6
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand
of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting
all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

That scripture says we must cast our cares upon

Him, because He cares for us – more than we
care for ourselves. I am showing you this path,
so you and I can arrive to the reason why God
may help us in our prayers. The Holy Spirit
props us up in prayer, as we know not what to
pray for. There is a time you just run out of
words, you start groaning, and have cramp like
pains in your abdomen.

I heard the story of a woman, who had that

unction fall upon her while she was in the city
centre. She gave into the leading of the Spirit,
and started groaning as if she was giving birth.
She caused a scene, as people stood around
looking at her as she groaned uncontrollably. It
went on for a good 10 minutes, and as she was
gathering herself back, she received a phone call.
It was from a traffic police officer and they asked
if she knew a certain gentleman, who happened
to be her husband. They said he had been
involved in a terrible motor accident, the car was
damaged beyond repair, but they found not a
single scratch on the gentleman, Glory to God!
The Lord led her to pray and the Holy Spirit
high jacked the intersession; the same time she
began to groan, was the same time her husband
was getting into an accident. It is important to let
the spirit guide and lead you.

1 Samuel 1:12
And it came to pass, as she continued praying before
the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth.
13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips
moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli
thought she had been drunken.
14 And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be
drunken? put away thy wine from thee.
15 And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I
am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk
neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out
my soul before the LORD.
Hannah could not put her words into articulate
speech, but she prayed from her heart, even the
Priest was moved. There will be times, like this
in your life, and all you can do is open your
mouth, as though, you cannot speak, but the
heart will be doing the talking.
7

The Connection
You will discover that, as you pray, there are
times you will feel like there is no change. There
are times you will feel like there is need for a
greater faith.

You can connect with your man of God, for him

to pray for you. There are so many ways to
connect, and when you connect you can collect.

James 5:14
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of
the church; and let them pray over him, anointing
him with oil in the name of the Lord:

You have to call for the man of God to pray for

you. I have found this prayer effective, with
instant results. It raises your faith, and lifts you
from one level to another.
As I stated that there are so many ways to
connect, you can sow a seed in the life of your
man of God, or a man of God. When you do that,
you connect and ride on his faith.

Do not give a blind eye to biblical principles.

Always remember to sow a seed, it is important.
This is one effective way to have results in
prayer.

2 Chronicles 20:20
And they rose early in the morning, and went forth
into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth,
Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye
inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your
God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so
shall ye prosper.

There are men whom God has connected to

Himself. When a man of God prays or intercedes
for you God can change His mind over
something.
Exodus 32:9
And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this
people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may
wax hot against them, and that I may consume them:
and I will make of thee a great nation.
11 And Moses besought the LORD his God, and
said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy
people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land
of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?
12 Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say,
For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in
the mountains, and to consume them from the face of
the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of
this evil against thy people.
13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy
servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self,
and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the
stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of
will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for
ever.
14 And the LORD repented of the evil which he
thought to do unto his people.

Some time back, someone, who was stricken by

cancer, gave a seed of ten thousand dollars, and I
ministered healing. She was totally healed, and
her seed, connected her to her healing.
Therefore, when you give a seed you connect.

Take advantage of these prayers, and make your

life worth it. There is nothing, absolutely nothing
that can stop you!
