Genesis 4:4
And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock
and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect
unto Abel and to his offering:
5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not
respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his
countenance fell.
6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou
wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if
thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto
thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came
to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up
against, Abel his brother, and slew him.
9 And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy
brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's
keeper?
10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy
brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.
Hebrews 12:24
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to
the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things
than that of Abel.
That scripture proves that the blood of Jesus
speaks louder.
Prayer of Breakthrough
1 Kings 3:3
And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the
statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and
burnt incense in high places.
4 And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for
that was the great high place: a thousand burnt
offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.
5 In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a
dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give
thee.
6 And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy
servant David my father great mercy, according as he
walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and
in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept
for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him
a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.
7 And now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy
servant king instead of David my father: and I am but
a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.
8 And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which
thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be
numbered nor counted for multitude.
9 Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart
to judge thy people, that I may discern between good
and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a
people?
10 And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had
asked this thing.
11 And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked
this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life;
neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the
life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself
understanding to discern judgment;
12 Behold, I have done according to, thy words: lo, I
have given thee a wise and an understanding heart;
so, that there was none like thee before thee, neither
after thee shall any arise like unto thee.
13 And I have also given thee that which thou hast
not asked, both riches, and honour: so, that there shall
not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy
days.
Psalms 126:5
They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious
seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,
bringing his sheaves with him.
There is a need to know, if you are praying for
financial breakthrough, you need to sow a seed.
The bible does not lie! The Psalmist says, you
will definitely reap and there is no need, to
debate this, just act and be blessed.
Revelations 8:3
And another angel came and stood at the altar,
having a golden censer; and there was given unto him
much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers
of all saints upon the golden altar which was before
the throne.
Tears of Prayer
L
ife is not a ride in the park. Life can be so
hard and difficult. There are times when
you suffer from hurt caused by man or the
devil; and you can’t take it anymore, and your
tears come out every time you are in prayer.
Those tears are a prayer that the Lord harkens to.
2 Kings 20:1
In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the
prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said
unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in
order; for thou shalt die, and not live.
2 Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto
the LORD, saying,
3 I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have
walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart,
and have done that which is good in thy sight. And
Hezekiah wept sore.
4 And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into
the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to
him, saying,
5 Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my
people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy
father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears:
behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go
up unto the house of the LORD.
Exodus 2:23
And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of
Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason
of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up
unto God by reason of the bondage.
God heard their cry and hid to the tears of the
children of Israel. This prayer moves God, to act
and deliver you from the oppressor. God always
answers prayers; but it depends on the kind of
prayer, you pray for and the kind of situation,
you are in.
Psalms 120:1
A Song of degrees. In my distress, I cried unto the
LORD, and he heard me.
Exodus 22:22
Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.
23 If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all
unto me, I will surely hear their cry;
24 And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you
with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and
your children fatherless.
T
his prayer is a prayer that moves angelic
hosts to act. It is a kind of prayer that is
well meditated, heartfelt, and spoken out
in a loud voice. This prayer has guarantees
because we see its effect in the book of Daniel.
Daniel 10:12
Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the
first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand,
and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were
heard, and I am come for thy words.
13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood
me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the
chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there
with the kings of Persia.
2Kings 6:17
And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee,
open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened
the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold,
the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire
round about Elisha.
I
n everything you do, be mindful of the fact
that God is omnipresent. The Lord Jesus on
one occasion mentioned that, if you dare look
at a woman lustfully you have committed
adultery. He mentioned that because the mind
can communicate. You can speak with your
mind and heart – the Lord of Lords will hear
your inner voice.
Proverbs 4:23
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the
issues of life.
Isaiah 14:12
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of
the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground,
which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend
into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of
God: I will sit also upon the mount of the
congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will
be like the most High.
Heart-felt Prayer
T
here are issues you can be burdened by, or
driven to by, the Holy Spirit. This is the
kind of prayer that has an automatic
response from God. At this point, you need to
have a sensitive spirit to hear the voice of the
spirit.
Hebrews 5:14
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age,
even those who by reason of use have their senses
exercised to discern both good and evil.
Romans 8:26
Likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for
we know not what we should pray for as we ought:
but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with
groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is
the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession
for the saints according to, the will of God.
The Lord knows what we need, more than, we
know what we need. He is everywhere and He
has said it in His word.
1Peter 5:6
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand
of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting
all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1 Samuel 1:12
And it came to pass, as she continued praying before
the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth.
13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips
moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli
thought she had been drunken.
14 And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be
drunken? put away thy wine from thee.
15 And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I
am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk
neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out
my soul before the LORD.
Hannah could not put her words into articulate
speech, but she prayed from her heart, even the
Priest was moved. There will be times, like this
in your life, and all you can do is open your
mouth, as though, you cannot speak, but the
heart will be doing the talking.

The Connection
You will discover that, as you pray, there are
times you will feel like there is no change. There
are times you will feel like there is need for a
greater faith.
James 5:14
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of
the church; and let them pray over him, anointing
him with oil in the name of the Lord:
2 Chronicles 20:20
And they rose early in the morning, and went forth
into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth,
Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye
inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your
God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so
shall ye prosper.
