ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I would like to thank the following people for helping me focus on my work:
My family, especially my mother, for their endless love and support, for being
there for me no matter what and meeting my every need.
They are the people who keep encouraging me to work hard, emotionally and
financially, even when I’m in a bad mood.
Thank you so much, I would also like to thank all my friends, classmates,
schoolmates and everyone. Those who spent time with me. Guide me without a doubt.
To the speakers while I focus on activities, Atty. Frolene Pearl C. Arnaez and Atty.
Dominic Oso, who imparted their knowledge, motivated and inspired us.
Most of all, I thank you Lord God, true source of light and wisdom, Creator of all
things, for guiding me through all the problems I face every day.

INTRODUCTION
Work Immersion: What Is It? One component of the Senior High School task
curriculum is Work Immersion, which can be found in the Culminating Activity or
Inquiries, Investigations and Immersion topics. In order to enhance their abilities,
students in Grade 12 or even college students will participate in work immersion
programs that expose them to real work environments. Students can train their own
abilities and skills to learn more by working in a certain environment. It's critical that
every student comprehend how they will work in their chosen area.
Furthermore, real-world employment experiences can provide students with avenues for
skill development and exploration. The DepEd stipulates that they must adhere to the
time allotted for their strand course.
Work Immersion also can develop the skills and self-confidence of students by
interacting and communicating to others.

ORIENTATION
In SPX 006: Culminating Activity in Humanities and Social Sciences, during our class.
Our instructor, Mr. Reian M. Tubis, gave us an overview of the details of our immersion
program and where to begin. Sir Tubis reminded us that there will be two immersion
activities that the students from Humanities and Social Sciences strand will be partaking
in.
First, is the Film Viewing and Film Review Making which is part of Mock Trial
performance. The Symposium, which is the second activity, will have two attorneys as
our speakers.

DAILY ACTIVITY
8:00 a.m. m. We got together to see a movie on March 23, 2024, at the Department of
Basic Education PHINMA, University of Iloilo AVR. Sir Tubis was taken aback by the
film he was going to watch because it dealt with a number of serious subjects, including
psychology, the legal system's verdicts, trial court testimony, and the law.
All of my classmates sobbed while viewing the film because of its depressing
conclusion. We were required to write a movie review discussing our thoughts and
observations about the film after we had seen it.
April 6, 2024
Around six in the morning, we were told to report to PHINMA UI BED. We had two
hours to get everything ready for our role in the mock trial. We moved to the Main
Campus around 7:30 a.m. in order to get ready for our march. We started the parade
back to bed around eight in the morning. At 8:30 a.m., the program and performances
began. Each of our eight groups worked on their designated case from that time until
12:30 p.m. during our mock trial. We had a lunch break after each group had concluded
their performance.
The Symposium got underway, and two special guests spoke. Atty is the first
name. A talk on career planning was given by Frolene Pearl C. Arnaez. The attorney is
the second speaker.
Dominic Oso spoke on politics and governance. This symposium provided us with
knowledge and direction regarding the vocations that we would pursue as HUMSS
students.

EVALUATION
OF
EXPERIENCES
PHINMA UNIVERSITY OF ILOILO
Iloilo City
The Work Immersion was a rewarding experience that taught me to strive for
excellence and not settle for mediocrity. Having a goal and a positive outlook can lead to
success. The immersion helped me improve my leadership, acting, directing, and
professional skills.

Problems and disagreements at work are unavoidable. Given that this immersion
activity is our training ground, it is only fitting that we have problem-solving skills. We
deal with minor disputes including schedule conflicts, time conflicts, and money issues.
These issues won't, however, prevent you from continuing your task. Instead, it should
serve as inspiration to perform better and approach issues with composure and grace.
To all Grade 12 students who will undergo and experience work immersion, I highly
suggest the following concepts and ideas.
- Be Creative
- Always Think Outside the Box
- Be Confident
- Don’t be Afraid
- Take a Risk
- Enjoy what you are Doing
- Love your Job
- Be yourself always
