THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND
INTRODUCTION
Effective attendance management is essential for many types of
businesses, from corporate offices to educational institutions, in today's fast-
paced world. Conventional approaches of record attendance, including
spreadsheet entry by hand or paper-based systems, take a lot of time and are
prone to manipulation and error. Modern technologies, like as Attendance
Monitoring Kiosk Machine using Android Tablet for the Faculties, have been
incorporated into attendance tracking systems to solve these issues and improve
efficiency, accuracy, and process flow.
Android tablet-powered attendance monitoring kiosks provide an
advanced solution that automates the process of tracking attendance of the
faculties in PUP Mulanay professors by combining hardware and software.
Usually, these systems consist of an Android tablet with specialized attendance
management software installed on a Android Tablet Kiosk Machine. Employees
or attendees can check in and out easily thanks to the software interface's
intuitive user interface.
Through this online website, any students, clients and visitors can accesss
by using any touchscreen devices with an internet connections. So, that they can
easily see or explore the status of the faculty members. Also, the faculty
members can update anytime their status even their inside or outside the campus. Theses can provide a real-time updating and viewing statuses if they
had an registered account. All users can access anytime if they’re going to create
an unique account using their ID’s or email address.
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
The general objective of this Attendance Monitoring Kiosk Machine using
Android Tablet for the Faculties of the PUP Mulanay such as:
To to reduce the time and effort required for faculties to record attendance
accurately.
To ensures that administrators have instant access to attendance records,
enabling them to make timely decisions based on up-to-date information.
To create an accessible and user-friendly interface that allows individuals of
all technical proficiency levels to interact with the attendance monitoring kiosk
easily.
To ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and maintaining the
security of attendance data is a critical objective.
To achieve cost-effectiveness in implementing and maintaining the
attendance monitoring kiosk machine using an Android tablet.
PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION
The purpose of developing this system is to help the Faculties of PUP
Mulanay by making there attendance easier for them. By assembling this
system, the students of the PUP Mulanay can help streamline their communication with the faculty members of the said campus, knowing the status
of each faculty member, whether they are inside or outside the campus. With the
help of this online website, students and faculty members can receive updates by
inputting real-time update forms for faculty members and also have access to a
real-time faculty status update webpage.
SCOPE AND LIMITATION
The scope of this system is it can easily provide a real-time update on the
status of faculty members on campus, which can be visible to students, clients,
and visitors. Also, the faculty can create an account to easily update their own
status, and the students, clients, or visitors can also create an account to see the
real-time updates of the faculty members, which they can access outside the
campus.
The Limitation of these system is it can only be accessed with an internet
connection. Only 10 GB of storage are available for saving the account records. CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK
