    Main: 5.3.1 Respond imaginatively and intelligibly through creating simple picture stories, simple poems
    and cartoon stories. Other imaginative responses as appropriate
    Complementary: 4.2.4 Describe people and objects using suitable statements
    Objectives
    By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to express their feelings in simple words.
    Activities
    1. Teacher asks pupils to make a few sounds (waves, hooves pounding, a deep and loud voice).
    2. .Bring in realia in a bag/box (seashell, egg shell, coconut, teacup, etc) The pupils touch without see the
    object in the bag and guess what the object is. Repeat for all the other objects.
    3. .Reveal the objects in the bag/box.
    4. Pupils name the objects and talk about them.
    5. .Recite the poem ‘Sounds Like Magic’ and pupils repeat with the correct intonation and pronunciation.
    6. Give Worksheet 1 to pupils. They match the pictures to the sounds. Check the answer in group.

    1. Teacher displays flashcards and elicits previous lesson.
    2. Teacher asks ppls to work in pairs. Distributes A4 paper.
    3. Give ppls 3 minutes to discuss and write down country and sports they know.
    4. Check the spelling and discuss with other pairs.
    5. Pupils sit in group, teacher distributes manila cards and asks pupils to draw map based on activities
    teacher decides.
    6. Each group present their work.

    By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to write in neat legible print with correct spelling with
    guidance
    Activities
    1. Teacher displays flashcards of subjects in schools and elicits pupils’ favourite subjects.

    2. Introduce the subjects vocabulary using the flashcards and ask pupils to raise their hands to say if they like and/or are
    good at a subject. Pupils repeat the words after teacher.

    3. Teacher distributes worksheet and asks ppls to identify the words in word maze.

    4. Play CD1 track 19 and pupils listen and sing the song together.

    5. Teacher asks ppls to to take out their other subjects textbooks.

    6. Teacher play the song and pupils have to raise the corresponding textbook when they hear the subject
    mentioned.
