n 170g of Super Bulky Yarn (I used Wool Ease Thick & Quick from Lion
GAUGE
Brand in FISHERMAN color)
n Tapestry needles for sewing and weaving in ends Ch11
Row 1 : dc in 4th ch, dc in next 7 chs, Turn
n Stitch marker
Row 2 to 4 : Ch3, dc in next 8 sts (last one is in Ch1), Turn
n Scissors 4mm hook 7mm hook
n Tape Measure

 - CROCHET CHEAT SHEET -

Chain (ch) : Start with a slip knot and pull the loop around the
ABBREVIATIONS hook. Yarn over (yo) and pull the yarn through the loop on the
hook.
yo : yarn over
st(s): stitch(es)
( ) or [ ] or * * : Work instructions within these Slip stitch (slst) : Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over (yo) and pull back
as many times as directed through the stitch as well as through the loop on the hook.
Rnd(s) : Round(s)
sp(s): space(s) Single crochet (sc) : Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over (yo) and pull
rep: repeat back through the stitch, yo and pull through 2 loops on the hook.
inc: increase (2 stitches in 1 stitch)
dec: decrease (1 stitch in 2 stitches) Half double crochet (hdc) : Yarn over (yo) and insert hook into
stitch. Yo and pull back through the stitch, yo and pull through 3
sk: skip
loops on the hook.
prev: previous
bl: backloop Double crochet (dc) : Yarn over (yo) and insert hook into stitch. Yo
fl: frontloop and pull back through the stitch, yo and pull through 2 loops, yo
bet: between and pull through remaining 2 loops on the hook.

Treble (or triple) crochet (tc) : Yarn over (yo) twice and insert hook
into stitch. Yo and pull back through the stitch, [yo and pull
through 2 loops] 2 times , yo and pull through remaining 2 loops on
the hook.
COLOR CHANGE
Pull the new color just before closing a stitch. Single crochet 2 together (sc2tog) : Insert hook into stitch. Yarn
Example with a sc : Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over (yo) and pull over (yo) and pull back through the stitch, yo and pull through 1
back through the stitch, yo with the new color and pull through 2 loop, insert hook into next stitch, yo and pull back through the
loops on the hook. stitch, yo and pull through remaining 3 loops on the hook.

Invisible decrease for Amigurumis (invdec) : Insert hook into

Frontloop of 2 next sts. Yarn over (yo) and pull back through these
loops, yo and pull through remaining 2 loops on the hook.

Double crochet 2 together (dc2tog) : Yarn over (yo) and insert

hook into stitch. Yo and pull back through the stitch, yo and pull
through 2 loops, yarn over, insert hook into next stitch. Yo and pull

through remaining 3 loops on the hook.

n Make a double knot with the beginning and the finishing - FASTEN OFF and WEAVE IN ENDS
thread, and cut the overage,
n Cut 26 strands of 7 inches long.
n Wrap 3 times around your wrist.
n Attach 13 of them on each side of the mug rug (fringes)

n Cut these fringes to be 1 inch long.
