Sub: Required information to be provided a n d instructions for ISPs.
With reference to above mentioned subject, the undersigned is directed to inform

you to provide following information to BTRC and also to follow the instructions as
under.
Information needs to be provided:
1. Details of Bandwidth leased by you from BTTB and also from other bandwidth
provider.
2. The name of the Bandwidth Provider- VSAT-Provider/BTTB/Sublease from ISP.
3. Have you fey membership from APNIC or any other international organization like
ICANN? Please specify the membership number with identification.
4. How many corporate client/dedicated clients/shared client do you have? Please

specify the block of IP address and fill up the following chart:

5. Copy of the agreement with the Bandwidth Providers (Agreement with the VSAT-
Provider/Demand note copy from BTTB/Sublease agreement with the ISP).
6. Online MRTG (Multi Router Traffic Graph) for overall bandwidth and also for
individual client should be submitted. The URL address with user ID and password of
each client are to be furnished.

Instructions:
1. ISP's are required to maintain the proper Subscription Form for all the clients.
2. ISP's are not allowed to provide bandwidth to the client to provide internet services
from their end. The client (Individual/Corporate) should be allowed only to use
bandwidth for their own purposes.
3. ISPs must have complete information regarding the exact location of the client to
whom you are providing bandwidth. JSPs must ensure that they provide end
connectivity to the respective clients' premise^ and the client does not extend the
connection beyond the location. ISPs will be held responsible for any extension of
connection beyond the designated location.
If the above instructions are not followed and maintained within 15 days of issuance of
this letter, proper action will be taken as per License condition as well as Bangladesh
Telecommunication Act, 2001. It should be noted that the instruction was given
previously by BTRC will be unchanged.
