PRODUCT A high build solvent free two pack polyurethane repair mastic. Highly resistant to marine and industrial
DESCRIPTION environments, buried conditions, ground water, effluents, salt water, and a wide range of oils and chemicals.
Extremely abrasion resistant, high mechanical strength.

INTENDED USES Designed for the rapid repair of damaged coatings, filling of holes and cracks on steel structures.
Providing a quick return to service of damaged substrates.

Meets the performance requirements of GIS/CW6:2020.


Meets the performance requirements of BS EN 10290.
Meets the performance requirements of AWWA C222.

Recommended Film Thickness 1.0 - 2.0 mm depending on service conditions.

Theoretical Spreading Rate 1 m² / litre @ 1000µm

Application Method Brush, putty knife, trowel or spatula

Re-coat When touch dry and within 24 hours of initial application.

Drying Times at 20ºC Touch Dry less than1 hour Hard Dry 4 hours

Full Cure at 20ºC 5 days or minimum shore D65

SURFACE Steel:
PREPARATION
Ensure surfaces are free from contamination. Prepare surfaces by abrasive blast cleaning to ISO
8501-1 Sa 2 ½. - surface profile depth 75-100 microns.

Mechanical tools may also be used providing a surface profile of minimum 75 microns can be achieved. Do
not polish/burnish the steel surface.

Overlap onto existing coatings: remove any loose material to establish a firm edge. Feather sound coating
and abrade surface to provide a key. Thoroughly abrade to remove gloss, surface contaminants etc. by
suitable method (sweep blasting, abrasive disking etc.)

Concrete:

Remove all laitance and other contaminants by blast cleaning. Ensure the concrete is dry to a reading of less
than 10% moisture. Seal with Versathane LV Sealer.

The temperature of the substrate must be at least 30C above the dew point during application and relative
humidity below 80%. Do not apply when rain, mist, sleet or snow are imminent.

APPLICATION This product is supplied in two containers as a unit. Always mix a complete unit in the proportions supplied.
Add hardener to base and stir thoroughly to a uniform mix. Ensure all material on the sides and bottom of the
container are fully incorporated. Decant into a plastic container and re-stir prior to application. Apply evenly to
the required film thickness.

Use product within stated Pot Life 3 – 5 minutes at 200C

Cleaning solvent. All equipment must be cleaned thoroughly immediately after use with Pracsolv 1

REGULATORY DATA Packaging Supplied in 0.1 litre and 0.2 litre composite packs

Flash Point 200°C

VOC 0 g/litre

Shelf life: 24 months from date of manufacture when stored in the original sealed containers at 20°C.
Hardener component contains Diisocyanates and as from 24.08.23 adequate training is required before
industrial or professional use.
