Introduction to UX Design
In the course "Introduction to UX Design," you will
acquire a solid comprehension of user-centered
design and the necessary mentality to develop
exceptional software products. You will
differentiate this mindset from the conventional
software development approach, and comprehend
the UX design process's steps, significance, and
how they connect with each other. You will also
realize that UX design concentrates on resolving
issues for end-users while constructing technology
products.
• User experience
• UX design process
• User interface design
• Prototyping
• Prioritization
• Goals, behaviors, and context
• Mental models
User research
This module covers the importance of research in
UX design, including different types of research
such as qualitative, quantitative, and attitudinal
behavioral. It also teaches how to prepare and carry
out research techniques that include usability
testing, defining test objectives, test scripts, finding
users, desktop/mobile setups, card sorting, depth
interviews, online surveys, stakeholder interviews,
and A/B testing. Additionally, it addresses research
bias and phrasing questions appropriately.

• Qualitative research
• Quantitative research
• Observational / attitudinal
• Research bias
• Phrasing questions
• Usability testing
• Defining test objectives
• Test scripts
• Finding users
• Desktop / mobile setups
• Card sorting
• Depth interviews
• Online surveys
• Stakeholder interviews
• A/B testing
Analysis techniques
In this module, you will learn about the importance
of analyzing the research data you gather to clearly
define the problems you are trying to solve for the
end-user. You will be introduced to design
personas, their advantages, and how to create them.
Additionally, you will learn to prepare a customer
value curve and its key benefits in the design
process. The module covers various analysis
techniques, such as triangulation, affinity diagrams,
customer journey maps, and empathy maps.

• Affinity diagrams
• Customer journey map
• Personas
• Customer value curve
• Empathy map
Interactions
During this module, you will gain knowledge on
how to create software interfaces and interactions
that are effective. You will begin by understanding
the key elements of interactions and how these
components, including controls, rules, and
feedback, support the overall interaction process.
You will also learn that feedback is the foundation
of successful interaction design and that wireframes
are used as a design tool to communicate control,
rules, and feedback to developers. Additionally, you
will be introduced to micro-interactions, which are
small but meaningful interactions within a larger
user interface. Finally, you will explore the anatomy
of an interaction, as well as techniques for sketching
wireframes.

Design principles
In this module, you will learn There is the set of
rules that designers need to follow to create a
composition that is both effective and visually
appealing. These are known as the principles of
design, which include the following fundamental
principles:
• Emphasis
• Balance
