Oral Exam: Interview Time!

1. What’s the importance of learning English for your profession?


English is very important since I study international business and I need to communicate
with different cultures in the global language that is English.

2. Which is more important to your when you learn a language: fluency or accuracy? Support
your answer.
fluency e is very important for me, because with fluency the words come out more
naturally, without the need to think much
3. Mention four pieces of advice before having a job interview. What is it important to have
into account?
 Research the Company and Role : helps us answer questions related to the
company and the specific role.
 Practice Common Interview Questions: Helps you communicate clearly and
confidently.
 Be well dressed Helps you feel more confident and prepared.
 Prepare questions for the Interviewer: help you more makes us look interested
and knowledgeable

have my own house and be with my family, have health and money

My greatest achievement is to continue studying and improving myself every day

I like June, it's a vacation month and I also have my birthday in June.

I couldn't change anything, I just wish I had been more diligent in studying when I was
younger.

I really like scary movies, they are my favorites

I am always checking social networks so I stay informed

The fake moon is a false conspiracy theory that said that the moon does not exist but
rather it was a projection.

Usually when someone lies they sweat a lot, they seem nervous and they don't often
look into each other's eyes

13. Do you agree or disagree: ‘A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is
putting on its shoes?
Yes, that's how it is, the lies always go from voice to voice, getting bigger but still the
truth prevails in one

14. Are you a planner or a procrastinator? Explain.


I am a procratinator because I always leave things for last, even though I know I should
do something I never do it until the last moment.

15. What do you get distracted by when you’re working?


I get distracted very easily by the cell phone and the television.

16. How do you try to avoid unnecessary distractions?


Whenever I go to study I turn off my cell phone and place it far from where I am so as
not to be distracted.

If writing a to-do list is a good idea in case we forget to do a task, remember it

an invention is The Internet has revolutionized the world. It has transformed the way
we communicate, work and access information.

The last time I shook someone's hand was yesterday.

21. Why do people tell lies about their lives?


People care about not being judged, since many times when they know your private life,
people believe that it is their priority to speak ill of you.

22. Would you like to change anything in your life? What would you change? Why?
I wouldn't change anything, I like my life, I would only add having a lot of money

 productivity efficiencies

DIRECTIONS: You will be randomly asked 4 questions, each of which represents 20 points,
totalizing 100. The average time per student is five minutes (four minutes answering the questions
and a spare minute receiving the feedback. Aspects to be evaluated: fluency, accuracy, security.
Aspects to be avoided: hesitation, lack of vocabulary or reasoning, forgetfulness, reading,
memorizing.) Last, but not least, (and it actually goes without saying) nobody will be
allowed to hold any electronic devices or notes while carrying it out, unless you belong to a
wholly virtual class.

Remember: This is an interview, thus, memorizing would turn out to be rather disadvantageous.
You should rehearse beforehand, though.
