In the next presentation I will

talk about an application of

linear algebra in engineering.
electrical. In order to find
solutions to problems that
arise when we face electrical
circuits using the Gaus
Jordan method, also applying
concepts
Goals

• General objective: Apply Kirchhoff's law and

algebraic methods in electrical engineering.

• Specific objectives:
1. Establish the linear equations of a circuit to be
analyzed.
2. Apply augmented matrix concepts to use the Gauss
Jordan method.
3. Apply concepts of node and Kirchhoff's law
4. Find the value of the unknowns.
• Kirchhoff's Law

It is the basis of circuit analysis and electrical engineering, it

allows us to know the value of currents and voltages of a
network of meshes and nodes in a conceptually very simple
way. Basically they allow us to solve circuits using the
equations to which they are linked.

/ FIRST LAW
• The current entering a node is equal to the sum of the currents
leaving

{ SECOND LAW

The sum of the voltages around a path or closed circuit must be

zero
