PF-llOT (Track version) Paver/Finisher. A Table of Contents and Alphabetical
Index are provided to assist in finding parts. A Numerical Part Number Index
appears in the back of the catalog.
This catalog is divided into lettered sections. The pages within each section are
numbered with the section letter designation and the number of the page within
the section such as Al, B3, etc. The page numbers are located in the upper outer
corner of each page.

C12 O-RING IDENTIFICATION LISTS

Slaw-Knox machines have a-Ring sealed hydraulic fittings. There are (2) types of
O-Rings: the SAE Boss Style, which installs over the threaded boss, seals between
the fitting thread base and the component into which it is connected; the ORS
Face Style, which installs in a .groove in the end of the fitting, seals between
the fitting and the hydraulic tube or hose leading to the component. The
illustration below identifies both types installed on a typical fitting.
Hydraulic fittings are supplied with a-rings installed. NOTE: Tubes & hoses do
not come with O-rings.

Special Installation Instructions for Blaw-Knox O-Ring Fittings

1) All a-rings furnished by Blaw-Knox are 90 Durometer. Do not use 70 Durometer.
2) Lubricate SAE a-rings with Blaw-Knox #260-24 Lub. Lubricate ORS Seat only
(Not O-ring) with Blaw-Knox #260-24 Lub.
3) Apply one drop only Blaw-Knox #147-12 Loctite to male thread only.
4) Torque fittings to foot-pound specs as listed for each O-ring.

 WARRANTY
Blaw-Knox warrants all new equipment of Blaw-Knox manufacture to be free from
defects in material and workmanship (when subjected to normal and proper usage)
for a period of six (6) months from the IIIn Service Date established by the "New
ll

Machine Delivery Report completed, signed and filed with Blaw-Knox when the unit
ll

is initially placed in servicelt Failure to transmit to Blaw-Knox the completed

and signed New Machine Delivery Report within 7 days of placing the equipment in
service will disqualify this warranty on the equipment. Notice must be given to
the servicing Blaw-Knox Distributor upon discovery of such defects, and parts
returned for inspection. Parts found defective by Blaw-Knox's inspection, will be
repaired or replaced without cost, F.O.B. point of manufacture. The foregoing
shall be the limit of Blaw-Knox's liability for such defects. No warranty is
extended on components and accessories not manufactured by Blaw-Knox, as these
items are subject to the warranties of their respective manufacturers.
EXCEPT AS SET FORTH HEREIN, THERE ARE NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NOR OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR
STATUTORY, NOR ANY PROMISES BY BLAW-KNOX WITH RESPECT TO THE EQUIPMENT COVERED
HEREIN. IN NO EVENT SHALL SLAW-KNOX BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, NOR FOR ANY DELAY IN PERFORMANCE OF THIS WARRANTY.
