    • We are organizing this conference with the support of our
    municipality October 14-15-16 INMUN Model United Nations
    conference will be held in Örnekköy Social Projects campus . Our
    conference is open to all high school students Application deadline:

    What is MUN?
    • Model United NationsIt is a simulation of the United Nations at the student
    level. Students represent certain countries and UN institutions.The mother
    tongue at the conferences is English. It usually includes committees located
    at the United Nations.Students enter into a detailed research on
    international relations, world problems and current events. They prepare
    draft laws that will solve these problems from the point of view of the
    different countries that they will represent at each conference, and they
    practice discussing them during weekly working hours. In the conferences
    they attend, they prepare proposals under the roof of the United Nations
    by discussing the solutions they have brought to the problems together
    with young people from different countries of the world, debating, using
    the tactics of diplomacy.
    What is the purpose of MUN?
    • To develop students' perspectives on the world and to strengthen the
    principle of democracy by making applications.In MUN conferences,
    solutions to global problems on the world agenda are sought.
    MUN Functioning
    • MUN, students represent any country delegation they choose from
    the 192 UN member countries. The Mun (Model United Nations)
    agenda and working principles are exactly the same as the UN
    system. Mun; The General Assembly (General Assembly), the
    Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and the sub-organizations in
    which the member countries participate according to their
    qualifications (the European Union, the Middle East Summit, etc.)
    occurs.
    MUN's contributions

    • 1. Thanks to these conferences, people's English language ability and


    self-confidence improve.
    • 2. While it gives a different perspective on the world, it also raises the
    general cultural level of the person.3
    • 3. Delegates have international thoughts other than personal and
    national thoughts through the country they are responsible for
    • .4. A full simulation of the real United Nations, with this activity
    students research, writing, debating, public speaking and teaches
    important skills such as expressing opinions.
