Bacon Bits goes snowboarding.

Many of you know Murphy the sheep from ravelry, well meet Bacon Bits, the little piglet
who gets into trouble. She is Murphy's farm friend. In her first adventure Bacon Bits goes snowboarding.
Unfortunately she winds up head first in a snow bank with a broken board.

Materials
Fingering weight yarn in the following colours:
White, pink, light blue, brown and bright blue.
Size 1 doublepoints
Tapestry needle

With Light Blue, cast on 24 stitches and join in round. Knit 1 round .

Begin Cuff Chart.

Written Instructions:

Round 1: *p1, k1, repeat from * to end of round.

Work round 1 for a total of 5 rounds.

Knit one round. Begin leg chart.

Divide for heel.


Knit 6 stitches from needle 1, turn. Slip 1, p11. Place remaining stitches on needle 2 for instep. (12 sts for heel, 12
sts for instep)

Turn heel
Row1 (Right Side): slip 1, k6, ssk, turn.
Row 2: slip 1, p2, p2T, turn.
Row 3: slip1, k2, ssk, turn,
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until all live stitches have been used. ( 4stitches remain)

Gusset:
Pick up 8 stitches along left side of heel flap. Knit across 12 instep stitches. Pick up 8 stitches from right side of
heel flap and knit 2 heels stitches onto this needle. You now have 10 stitches on needle 1, 12 stitches on needle 2,
and 10 stitches on needle 3. (32 stitches total)

Round 1:knit.
Round 2: Knit to last 3 stitches on needle 1, k2T, k1. Knit across needle 2. Needle 3, k1, ssk, knit to end of round.
Repeat rounds 1 and 2 until you have 6 stitches on needle 1, 12 stitches on needle 2, 6 stitches on needle 3. (24
stitches)

Continue knitting every round until sock measure 2 inches from back of heel. Begin shaping toe.

Toe:
Round 1: Knit to last 3 stitches on needle 1, k2T, k1. Needle 2, k1, ssk, knit to last 3 stitches, k2T, k1. Needle 3, k1,
ssk, knit to end of round.
Round 2: knit
Repeat rounds 1 and 2 until you have 8 stitches remaining. Graft these stitches together.
