Learning will take place in an actual classroom. Learners will work individually, in pairs and
small groups.

INTRODUCTION
Ask oral questions to introduce the songs.

LESSON DEVELOPMENT
STEP 1
Guide the learners to watch live /reordered performance of action songs

STEP 2
Use key inquiry questions; guide the learners to talk about songs
Teacher guide learners in doing activities on action songs in the learner’s book page
The core competency of communication and collaboration will be developed as the learner
discuss about the action song watched

STEP 3
Teacher to guide the learners in singing action songs ensuring they sing the tune and rhythm
correctly and apply the correct dynamics.

CONCLUSION:
Guide the learners to role play some of the activities associated with specific events during
which the songs are sung
Sing for enjoyment

In groups guide the learners to sing the songs while applying expressive elements such as
dynamics and tempo
The core competency of communication and collaboration will be developed as the learner
discuss about the pictures

Teacher to guide the learners in singing action songs ensuring they sing the tune and rhythm
correctly and apply the correct dynamics.

In groups involve the learners in singing a patriotic song while observing accuracy in pitch
and rhythm
Guide the learners to role play some of the activities associated specific events which the
patriotic songs are sung

LESSON DEVELOPMENT
STEP 1
Teacher to involve learners in discussing the performance observed/listened to using the
key inquiry question.

STEP 2
Teacher to divide the learners into two groups and assign each group a part to sing (one
group sing the main melody while the other group sings the second part)

STEP 3
In groups learners to sing their part simultaneously as guide by the teacher

CONCLUSION:
Engage the learners in observing accuracy in pitch and rhythm and using dynamics as they
sing two part song.
