SKILLS PEDAGOGY (STRATEGY/ACTIVITY)
Content Standard: Set Induction:
Main: 1. Pupils listen to audio sounds of different animals such as

Pre- lesson:
1. A few pupils are called to the front to open some papers
pasted on the whiteboard to reveal some pictures of farm

While- lesson:
1. Pupils are divided into groups and given an Empty Farm
Template and some pictures of farm animals.
2. Pupils colour the pictures in their groups.
3. Pupils do a ‘Listen and Stick Activity’
4. Pupils listen to teacher’s sentences to stick the pictures of
the farm animals on the Empty Farm animal template.
Sentences the teacher reads are as below:

 This is our farm.


 The horse is near the big red barn.
 There are two ducks swimming in the pond.
 There’s a dog sitting near the kennel.
 There are two chickens at the chicken coop.
 There is a big sheep and a baby lamb in the pen.
 The cow is in the brown shed.

5. After that, each group receives a marker and a Fill in the


blanks template that uses the same sentences from the
listening activity.
6. Pupils fill in the blanks with the correct words.
7. One group is called to the front to present their work.

Post- lesson:
1.Pupils are required to complete a worksheet given.
2. After completion the answers are discussed.
3. Teacher rewards students who did excellently.

Conclusion:
1.A few students are called to make farm animals sounds and
spell the animal’s homes.

OBJECTIVES TEACHING AIDS:


Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be pictures flashcards songs/audio clips
able to listen and stick at least 5 animals speaker/laptop/projector template task sheet

Complementary: At the end of the lesson,
