Lesson 1: Food and Drink
I. OBJECTIVES:
A. Main lesson aims:
At the end of the lesson, students will be better able to:
1. General knowledge:
- Identify the names of food and drink: noodles, curry, sushi, lemonade, grape
juice, tea.
- Ask and answer about what people eat.
- Pronounce exactly the names of the names of food and drink: noodles, curry,
sushi, lemonade, grape juice, tea.
- Know irregular verbs with new foods and drinks: ate and drank.
2. Skills:
- Apply how to use exactly the names of the food and drink in real life.
- Develop 4 skills: Speaking – Listening – Reading – Writing (focus on
Speaking - Listening).
3. Attitudes:
- Become more enthusiastic in learning food and drink.
- Have more confidence, active and motivated in expressing ideas throughout
the period.
- Raise their awareness of English self-studying.
B. Contents:
1. Vocabulary:
- Noodles, curry, sushi, lemonade, grape juice, tea.
2. Pronunciation:
- Correct pronunciation of new words.
3. Grammar:
- Eat => Ate.
- Drink => Drank.
