SCRIPT FOR TABLE RESERVATION

RING…ring….ring…
Staff: Good (morning/afternoon/evening). Destiny Restaurant. This is (name)
speaking. How may I help you?
Guest: good morning, I would like to make a reservation.
Staff: may I have your name, please.
Guest: this is (name of guest)
Staff: when would you like to book your table? Table for how many guests? Where
would you to sit or is there any area you would like to sit?
Guest: that will be on December 9; good for two (2) persons; I would like to it
near at the window/do you have a rooftop; can you place us there?
Staff: please allow to put you on hold, sir/mam, while I check the availability.
Guest; ok no problem.
Staff: I’m sorry to keep you waiting sir/mam(state name), the table is available, for
what time and can I have your number sri/mam (state name).
Guest: oh, it’s ok, its for 7:00 in the evening, my number is 09464126224.
Staff: may I please repeat the table reservation details, a table for two near the
windo on October 20, at 7 in the evening in the name of (state name) and your
mobile phone number is 09464126224. Is the details correct sir/mam?
Guest: yes, that is correct.
Staff: thank you very much sir/mam (state name). we look forward to seeing you

SERVICE SEQENCE SCRIPT


(Welcoming the guest)
Staff: good evening mam/sir. Welcome to Destiny Restaurant. Do you have any
reservations?
Guest: yes, I have a reservation, in the name of (state name)
No, I don’t have a reservation.
Staff: for a while sir/mam (state name), (checking list), we prepared a nice table for
you sir/mam(state name)
Sir/mam, which do you prefer smoking or non-smoking, good for how many?
Guest; thank you
Non smoking pls. just for one.
(Guiding the guest to their table. Open palm. Staff will lead the guest to their table.)
Staff: this way please.
Staff; is this table/area ok with you sir/mam?(state name). do you like some water?
Guest: yes it is ok
Presenting the menu.
Staff: May I present the menu?
Guest: Yes, please.
Order taking. Do suggestive selling. Repeat order. Inform time of delivery.
Staff: we are known for our steak and pasta. We serve tender and juicy,
porterhouse steak, fillet mignon and t-bone steak. If you are a chicken lover, you will
surely love our roast chicken and chicken galantine.
Guest: can I have t-bone steak/fillet mignon.
Staff: how do you like your steak to be done, sir/mam (state name)? rare?medium
rare?well done? What about soup or salad to complement meal? We have
minestrone soup, egg drop soup, for salad we have green garden salad, waldorf,
ceasar salad. (if the guest, choose green garden salad, offer dressing, provide the
choices) for your dressings sir/mam,thousand island dressing, mango vinaigrette or
plain vinaigrette?

the meal, check satisfaction.

anything else I may assist you with, sir/mam. Enjoy your meal.
Guest: none so far…. Thank you
Staff: how’s the food sir/mam? Was it prepared to your satisfaction?
Are you done sir/mam? Can I clear the table?
Guest: its sumptuous, and I enjoy it.

While the guest enjoys his/her, main course (steak) offer/serve wine. Then offer
dessert and coffee.
Wine service
Staff: sir/mam, may I serve the wine?
Guest: yes please.
Staff: here’s your, premium Old Vines Pinot Noir (PEE-NOW NUH WAAR) 2020, Bass
Philip, Gippsland. Dry, light to medium bodied, with bright acidity, silky tannins and
alcohol that range between 12-15%.
Here’s your, La Jota (HOTA), Howell mountain cabernet sauvignon (KA-BER-
NAY SAW-VIN YAWN) 2019 a full-bodied red wine with dark fruit flavors like black
cherry, blackberry, and black currant. high in alcohol, usually in the 13–14 percent
range..

Billing (guest will asks for bill)
Staff: give the bill folder to guest. State the amount receive if cash/asks for
ID and let the guest sign in billing for debit/credit charges.
Bidding goodbye
Staff: thank you for coming sir/mam. We look forward for your next visit.
