“ Age of Grade- 10 Humility

and Its Relationship to their


Discipline”
• Discipline is a powerful tool that helps students organize themselves. Without it,
you may find it hard to focus on one subject for the whole day. There are some
general rules that everybody should obey in order to achieve an effective learning
environment. Age can affect a student behavior. In this 21st Century student
misbehaviors such as disruptive talking, chronic avoidance of work, clowning,
interfering with teaching activities, harassing classmates, verbal insults, rudeness
to teacher, defiance, and hostility [1], ranging from infrequent to frequent, mild to
severe, is a thorny issue in everyday classroom. Teachers usually reported that
these disturbing behaviors in the classroom are intolerable [2] and stress-
provoking [3], and they had to spend a great deal of time and energy to manage
the classroom [4, 5]. Obviously, student misbehaviors retard the smoothness and
effectiveness of teaching and also impede the learning of the student and his/her
classmates.
Statement of the Problem
This research entitled "Age of Grade 10 Humility and Its
Relationship to their Discipline on President Jose P. Laurel National
High School,” aims to seek solutions and answer the following
question.
1. Does the discipline of the students fit to their age?
2. What is the attitude or discipline of the students nowadays?
3. How does a person's age affect the level of discipline?
4. Is there a relationship between age and how discipline a person is?
5. What is the relationship in the age and discipline of the G10
Humility?
Objectives
• Find out how age influences the discipline of of the
Grade- 10 Humility students.
• Expanding understanding and knowledge of your
academic field.
• Defining your academic, career, and personal interests.
• Gaining academic experiences that help expand your
resume, such as presenting at research conferences,
publishing, and working with a research team.
Methodology
This chapter presents the important methods and procedures that the
researchers noticed while gathering the applicable data to come up with the
good research .The parts are already recognize to easily understand and
analyze the contents of the research.

Statistical treatment of data is essential in order to make use of the


data in the right form. Raw data collection is only one aspect of any
experiment; the organization of data is equally important so that the
appropriate conclusions can be drawn. And there are many techniques
involve in statistics that treat data in the required manner. This is what
statistical treatment of data is all about.

10- Humility
In the second figure, it shows that the greatest
percentage of students whose age are 16 years old which
is 64%, while the least one is the students who are 17
years old which is 11% and 15 years old are 25% of the
students . This means that the having bad behavior have
more impact to those students at age of 16 based on data
gathered by the researchers.
Conclusion
Based on the findings, the following conclusions were
drawn.
1. Both positive and negative effects if students
discipline are present.
2. The relationship of the age of students to their
discipline was proven.
3. The students discipline has a relevancy to their age.
Recommendation
Students
1. They should know that having a discipline can help them to have been a good
students or person.
2. They should
maintain having a good deal and communications to other people and show to
others that being discipline is an example of being generous.

Parents
1. They should discipline their children because it is one of the aspects that parent
should do, to guide their children in handing them in any situation and
consequences especially in behavior.
2. They should observed whatever their children doing , so they can easily resolved
the problem occurring about misbehavior.
Teachers
1. As their second parent they should also guide their students and encourage them
that discipline is one of the important factors that a person should have.
2. They should keep their students motivated to study hard and get high grades
instead of having bad behavior.

Future Researchers
To future researchers, conducting a research that is relevant to this will be huge
help to any students to be fully aware about the effect of having bad behavior.
