Definition
Conditional Sentence (= Supposition sentence) is a sentence
that is used to express something that may or may not happen as
expected.
Conditional sentence consists of two clauses, namely:
The
1. Main Clause (Main Clause) and Conditionals
2. IF Clause (sub-clause)

Used to talk about things that are generally true or scientific facts

2) You wouldn’t be so tired if you had gone to bed earlier.
3) If you hadn't eaten so much, you wouldn't have felt sick.
4) If it had rained, we wouldn't have gone shopping.
5) If we had won, I would have been happy.
6) If the weather had been good, we would have gone water-skiing.
In English, there are four types of conditional sentences - zero, first, second, and
third conditional sentences.
When the conditional clause comes first in a sentence, separate the two clauses
with a comma.
