A. differentiate assessment process from
assessment product with examples;
B. classify types of assessment in terms of
traditional and authentic; and
C. cite advantages of authentic assessment.
WHAT IS
AUTHENTIC ASSESSMENT
EXAMPLE:
Given one fresh milkfish , knife , basin water, tray
and forcep , a sophomore secondary student will be
able to split the milkfish and within 20 minutes
debone and wash the fish.

perform meaningful task in real world situation.

thinking skills because the evaluators including

rating most appropriate to the students’
performance from excellent down to poor.
