    • The methodology is the procedure of research techniques.It is the logic of


    scientific investigation.Methdology refers to the rational and philosophical
    assumption that underline a particular study related to the scientific method. In
    every research work , a well defined methodology is the guideline for
    research. Methodology means the philosophy of the research process.
    TITLE

    • The title of the present study is “Changing trends in marriage, among youth an
    analysis in Mala gramapanchayath.”
    STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

    • The present study has been analyzed the topic “Changing trends in marriage,
    among youth an analysis in mala gramapanchayath”. The one of the most
    important facter is marriage. In the study the researcher analyzed young
    peoples change in marriage patterns and concepts have an impact on today
    society.
    OBJECTIVES

    • To understand the concept of marriage among youth.


    • To identify the trends in marriage.
    • To find out the factors responsible for the changing trend in marriage.
    RELEVANCE OF STUDY

    • Marriage become a major sociological problem in today’s society. Most of the


    youth choose marriage as an option for their life. It become the changing trends
    in marriage in present society. Drowning from the demographic transition
    theory. This chapter explores changes in Kerala family, forms, moreover it
    examine how attitude to words marriage and family have been changing over
    time.
    CONCEPT CLARIFICATION

    • Concept are the building block of researcher’s topic. Concept are the symbol what the researcher is going to
    represent.

    • MARRIAGE
    Marriage as important social institution in the world.”The legally or formally recognized union of to people
    partner in personal relationship.” It is an institution closely related to the family. Marriage is the approved social
    pattern whereby two or more persons established family(Horton and Hunt). It unites two individual as spouses.

    • YOUTH
    “The period between childhood and adult age.The young generation people are simply defined as Youth.It is the
    period of awareness.” According UNO youth is the time of age between 15-25 years.”

    • CHANGING TRENDS
    • “ To run or band in a certain direction.”It simply means that change over the peroids or developing
    something.It may be called as Fashion.
    RESEARCH DESIGN OF THE STUDY

    • A research design is a local and systematic plan prepared for directing a


    research study, it’s a blue print or detailed plan for how a research study is to
    be completed, operational variable so they can be measured selecting and
    sample of interested to study collect a data to be used. In the study the research
    design is descriptive. Disruptive research studies are those studies which are
    concerned with disrupting the characteristics of a particular or individual or
    group.
    IDENTIFICATION OF VARIABLE

    • Variable can be categorised into independent variable and dependent variables.


    In the present study dependent variable are age, sex and educational
    qualification. Independent variable are public health framework.palliative care
    services, socio-economic problems
    • Dependent and independent variable are variables in mathematical modeling
    statistical modeling and experimental sciences. Dependent variables are studied
    under the supposition or demand That They depend by some law or rules on the
    values of other variable.
    UNIVERSE AND SAMPLE

    The sum total or the aggregate of are units /cases that conform to some
    designated set of specification is called universe or population.
    Sampling is simply the process of learning about populations on the basic of a
    sample drawn from it under this method a small group of the universe is taken as
    the representative of the whole mass and the results are drown.
    • To understand a sociological analysis of youth on marriage and changing trends
    in marriage the researcher selected thrissur district as a sample random
    sampling method was used to collect the data. The study was conducted only
    by concentrating 100 sample from the universe
    SOURCES OF DATA COLLECTION

    • In the present study the researcher used both source of data primary &
    secondary. These are two important source of data in the research study. The
    primary data will be collected through interview method and then the
    secondary data collected through book, article , journal, video clips etc.
    TOOL OF DATA COLLECTION

    Tool of data collectionTools are important factor to collection various kind of


    information. In The present study interview method adopted for collecting
    primary data from the respondent. Questionnaire is used as tool for the data
    collection
    METHOD OF DATA COLLECTION

    • In the research there are two important classification of method ie qualitative &
    quantitative. In the present study mixed method used for methods of data
    collection.
    STATISTICAL ANALYSIS AND
    INTERPRETATION

    • The collected data was scrutinized, edited and coded collected data was
    tabulated and analyzed with the help of statistical techniques of percentage,
    tables, pie diagrams.
    SCHEME OF CHAPTARISATION

    • The present study is based on the sociological analysis of youth on marriage


    and changing trends in marriage.In this study included five chapters.The first
    chapter deals with introduction second chapter deal with the review of
    literature Third chapter deals with the research methodology Through
    methodology understand objectives of the present study The fourth chapter
    deals with the data analysis Finally fifth chapter deals with the finding
    suggestions and conclusion of the study.
    LIMITATION OF THE STUDY

    • Limitation of the study were: lack of time, lack of money and lack of quality
    answer from the respondent.
