Introducing… ME!!!

hello friends!!! I have appeared!! Welcome to my own personal little corner. My online house, if I may.

Here are some things about me :)

β€’ You can call me Mel or Lana, either is fine :) I am a minor so like… take precaution

β€’ My pronouns are just she/her and i recently realized I am acespec. I might be aro, might be pan, but I’m not quite certain yet (don’t even get me started on the gender situation crisis thing lol)

β€’ Some of my favorite music artists as of now are: Kanii, Kali Uchis, Don Toliver, Odetari, Megan Thee Stallion, Forrest Frank, and Ive also been very into K-pop recently (skz, Ateez, txt, Le sserafim, etc…)

β€’ I enjoy lots of manga and anime (mostly shounen) Bluelock is my favorite manga (it invokes such intense emotions while im reading) and a few of my favorite animes are JJK, Naruto, BSD, and SK8

β€’ I’m a marauders fan, a marvel fan, a PJO fan, an arcane fan, and a stranger things fan. Those are not my only fandoms but I think they’d be my biggest ones right now. Ask me about the ships and characters I love and I will never stop yapping lol

β€’ Not a big fan of haterism with malicious intent (towards people who did no wrong) but I think it’s ok to those who deserve it (the government) so watch what you say please (basically the usual dni if homophobic, transphobic, terf, etc etc. if you have stupid things to say, keep them to yourself)

β€’ I can be an insane person sometimes. I’m also a hypocrite. Sometimes. I enjoy jet skiing at top speeds on waves and imagining comets hitting my school right before I take a test. Normal things.

If you wanna know more about me, asks are super duper welcome, even hate comments (like abt my personality or smth. I don’t care if you hate that im ace lol), I think they’re funny.

Lowkey unsure about this but I also have a side blog (here) which is like my art mostly and some OC stuff.

i recently had the honour of introducing my friend to the β€œ[blank]er? i hardly know β€˜er!” joke by loudly exclaiming β€œliquor? i hardly know her!!” during a party, causing my friend (never heard the joke before) to laugh so hard she threw up

I can’t believe that I spent weeks in a half conscious panic trying to catch up and get all my work done and now that I have the first weekend ever with nothing urgent to do or panic about, im instead having paranoid bouts of panic thinking that I forgot something I needed to do. This is a scam

lance and pidge call themselves the cool duo bc they’re cool colors and hunk and keith get so offended they spend all night trying to come up with some fusion nickname of their own. rejected ideas include: warm guys! (hunk’s idea), cooler duo (keith’s idea) and condiment bros (hunks idea but keith genuinely considered it). they settle on β€œthe lava boys” bc it’s a combo of rocks and fire lol.

lance calls their nickname stupid but hunk’s like β€œsorry you’re jealous of my epic bromance with KEITH now” and they get in a massive pillow fight (lava boys vs cool duo) that lasts three hours, with pidge dropping feather bombs in lava boys territory using her drone and keith using blankets as tripwires.

it ends when shiro and allura try to settle everyone down and they get hit by stray pillows. they proceed to decimate them all and call themselves β€œin charge duo” before marching everyone to their rooms.

theres something really startling about asking your friend to describe you the way they’d describe a complex character in their favorite media and getting the most introspective answer that reveals parts of you that you’d never realized existed
