With the blessing of the original author, I have adopted her 10+ year unfinished series, rechristening it Angels & Humans: An AU of the Angels & Demons 2009 film centered on Ewan McGregor’s portrayal of Camerlengo Patrick McKenna that incorporates amazing supernatural/mythical elements.
The first installment, Angels Rising, has been heavily revised with added details with the original author’s blessing, consistent with my passion for worldbuilding and backstories.
The second installment and current WIP, Angels Awakening, is also heavily revised, with a new prologue and revisions to the existing chapters with lots of additional detail and new scenes. Now, the first full new chapter is up!
Chapter 7: Robert Langdon is shaken to learn a weird dream may be the source of vital data on a prophesized catastrophe, and over 1500 years earlier, the elements themselves are shaken by an archangel's grief. Back in 2010, as Patrick is threatened again in his sleep by demons, a certain messenger archangel come to his aid, and elsewhere, Patrick's late adoptive father enlists another hero from the Illuminati attack to help his son.
An Angels & Humans Series Character Guide has also been created with Chapter 1 containing fleshed-out mini-bios of the canon characters and mini-bios and fancasts of the OCs, and Chapter 2 containing mini-bios and fancasts on the non-human characters.
